Richard became ill and was personally responsive to let me know. He is a wonderful person and wish we could have worked together

I have used Richard for several years and have been delighted with his service. If he can't do something, he will say so. I trust him in the home alone.... and he cleans everything up every single time (even from day to day). I'd rather find a new doctor than try to find a good, dependable handiman!

My husband and I are very happy with the work he did.

Richard was very responsive since I was under a time crunch and was able to get up in the VERY hot attic to perform this work. He also was very inventive in creating a shield in the attic to keep the insulation away from the water heater vent pipe so there would not be a fire hazard. He did quality work and was very reasonable.

Very professional, punctual and honest. Will use again and highly recommend.

We were extremely pleased with all the work Rick did for us. He came each morning promptly on time, kept a clean and neat work area, did a professional job in both the painting work as well as installing a pull down stair attic access. He is personable and thoroughly accountable. We felt very comfortable leaving the house and letting him lock up when he was finished. Fair pricing for all the work done. We would most definitely call him again for any work that was needed. Highly recommend him.

Richard brought a friend to help with the work. They arrived at the time promised each day and worked diligently until they got the job done. Repairs included screwing down loose boards, repairing flower boxes and caps, and replacing a small section of siding. Excellent work. They even stained the skirting around the deck, which was over and above our original agreement. Price was good considering the quality of work and the extra work performed. One reason we chose to use Richard was because he was able to repair the lintel over our garage door without replacing all the trim boards. Other handymen had told us that the trim on the sides would have to be replaced in addition to the piece across the top. Richard was able to repair just the parts that were rotten. He also caulked the siding above the door to prevent future damage. Richard is very busy, so I did have to call him a couple times to get our job scheduled. Other than that, the job went extremely well.

He came out for a little over 4 hours. It went very well. Everything is working now. I will have him come back in the future. He is very detail oriented. I am very happy with him.

Richard does a thorough job whether a major effort like replacing porch columns and rotting wood around the roof or a small task like cleaning and replacing storm windows.

Richard scheduled the work well to allow for prime coat to dry while he did other work and painting finish coats in good weather. Of course, there was a lot of prep work beforehand. He coordinated well on days when he had to work in the back so that the dogs could be secured.

Richard has worked for me twice before. As on previous occasions, he studied the job to be done, gave me a price, and stuck with the original price. He has always arrived on time and has done the work in neat and clean manner. Due to the slope of the sidewalk and its slight curve, this handrail required careful measuring and cutting to get all the angles right. It looks good. The finished railing appears to be sturdy, with no wobbling, which is important since we had it installed to give my 83-year-old mother easier access to our front door. I thought the price was very fair.

Richard gave us a written estimate, which was accepted by us. We set up a date and time, and he arrived promplty as scheduled.He completed all of the work requested in an excellent, professional manner. I feel that he does superior work, and is extremely concientious. Highly recommended!!

I am so glad I found Richard--I've only lived in my house a few months and have struggled to find contractors who do a solid job, return phone calls, come on time...etc. He's only been over once, to hang some curtains and a window shade, install some string lights on my patio, and give me an estimate on replacing a rotting trellis. But I would hire him again in a minute--I have a long repair list to get through, and Richard knows what he's doing and gave me a fair price for the work. I feel like I can finally relax now that I have a go-to house guy!

I wouldn't change a thing. Richard came to me recommended and I, in turn, have recommeded him! I would leave him alone in my home ... and never have any second thoughts. He cleans up the area when he is done -- I'm not left with drips and draps of items I need to throw out or replace. He's very congnizant of pets -- and I have a cat that would escape faster than a blink! I've told Richard more than once, I'd rather find another doctor than a replace him!
