Pittner Services

Pittner Services installed 17 windows in our house. These were complete replacements, frame and all. We had some rot around a window, and we didn't know how extensive the damage might be. We chose Pittner because they seemed to have the expertise to deal with any wall and siding repairs that might be needed. Fortunately, the rot was only in the window frame and not in the wall studs. The team worked very hard in hot weather and finished in one day. They were all very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Price was great, they showed up on time, finished the job right away, real professional. Cleaned right away and hauled all the trash away. The manager, Ken who came out during the estimate is really personable.

Overall, I was pleased with their work and professionalism. We had issues during the installation as there was a mix up in communication between us and them on the exact color of the sashes that we ordered. However, that was probably a lot of our fault as well. They worked with us that day to figure out a go forward plan that was acceptable to both parties. I thought the Windows they installed and their work were top notch. They were really good at communicating with us and where there when they said they would be there. Would definitely use them again and would consider using them for a new house as well instead of relying on builder grade windows and installation issues.

stephan not only did a fine job and fixed the problem window, he explained how he chose the method of repair as opposed to more expensive solutions. He was personable without being silly and we would gladly chose him - and Pittner - again if needed.

We started our service in October to get our custom door built. We had our project finished in January and they did a great job. They were very prompt, and on time. I really liked them - they did a great job!

Crew was professional, courteous & completed the work in one day. Next day I alerted Stefan about a major caulk drip & it was redone the same day. Would definitely use Pittner Services again.

I had steel front entry door that faced the morning sunlight. As a result of this, along with paint color, the door (and sidelights) absorbed a lot of heat and underwent a lot of expansion and contraction. This expansion eventually led to the sidelight trim to bust causing a drafty entryway and moisture intrusion. Also, probably as a result of the house settling after construction, both the entry door and and storm door were not square and didn't shut and latch properly. I went to the showroom and informed Mr. Pittner of my problems and he suggested the type of door I should get installed which I agreed to. Mr. Pittner called before coming out to perform the removal and installation and they arrived on time. They made two trips out to the house, the first to install entry door then later to install the storm door after I painted the entry door (I wanted to save a little bit so I did the paint myself) They performed the work quickly and quietly (as quiet as you can for a construction job!) and were even open to any questions I asked during the process. They were thorough in their clean up as well. I am very happy with the installation and am no longer embarrassed by my front door. I would definitely recommend this Pittner Services and if I ever have a similar job (windows, doors, etc.) they will be the first I would call. My only "complaint" would be the timing of installation. I got the initial quote towards the end of May, installation of the entry door occurred in mid July, and completion of the project with the storm door in mid September. When we were determining a day to come out I was put on the schedule as ASAP, meaning that the installation shouldn't take long and they would fit me in between bigger jobs. I can't really complain much because I wasn't in a hurry to get the job completed and if I wanted it done sooner I would have requested a firm date, so some of the "blame" could have been put on me. Weather also played a role, we ended up having a wet June so that pushed a number of jobs back. Another reason I can't complain much is they when they did come out in July, it was after a nice cold front pushed through which knocked the temps down near 80 degrees, so I saved in not having to run the AC while they had the front entry way wide open during installation. Finally, when they made the second trip out to install the storm door they took a look at and repaired a closing and latching problem I was having with my back patio door (installed by a Lowes installer a couple years earlier, had simliar thermal expansion and moisture problem) at no extra cost! I wish I had Pittner for that job. I can look at time issue in a positive light however, if it took this long to come out to complete the job due to other projects going on, then there are other people that see that they perform quality work.

Went well, scheduling was an issue because of me not Pittner, they were very accomodating, and understanding re: my condition. When time was right, they were prompt and competed the work in the time estimate they provided for me. Their work was professional, and their work ethic was highly appreciated, i.e. the two intstallers did not take breaks that prolonged the work, they stayed active. The windows installed were done correctly, and wokred corrrectly. An important issue for me was that cleaned up as they worked, and completely when the job was finished.

I contacted them to do the repair as mentioned above. They were easy to work with, provided a timely estimate and schedule to perform the work. The actual work was performed after we sold and settled so I have no info on the actual quality of work. Many window companies did not even want to do replacement panes.

Found on Angie's list - called for estimate. They came out within a couple of days then emailed estimate. Once I gave go ahead they ordered windows and scheduled installation. Very professional and prompt!

To start, they were very responsive to all inquiries for quotes, described in detail the work to be done, stuck within the limits of their quotes and the subcontractor they hired to do the gutter portion of the job was top notch. All work was done professionally. The workers/staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all inquiries to my satisfaction. I would like to state they had weather related issues that delayed the work some, which they let me know so I would not be wondering if/when work would be done. We had two such delays. They showed up on time as agreed upon, the work they did was top notch and very professional looking and will add to the value of my home. And they did cleanup to the point you could not tell they had ever been there. A first for me, where many other companies that have done work for me have left messes in the past, there was nothing left on the ground or in my beds after they were done. The small company they hired to do the gutter portion of the work was the best I have seen. Superb! What I thought was a good solution, based upon other homes in my neighborhood, they actually designed and installed a much better solution. The homes in my neighborhood had small drains in the back of the gutter, drained directly onto the roof (which in itself may not be an issue but could be potentially later if water is getting under the shingles) and it was easy to tell they were 'quick installs', cheap options. What this company did with mine is they placed the new downspout towards the front of the gutter, to one side (on the big one up front on both sides), with a much longer downspout, where when the water comes out, it comes out onto the lowest part of that roof area and is directed away from the wooded/painted areas, and towards splash guards. Less risk of getting under the shingles, drains almost directly into a lower gutter and by being directed towards splash guards, it is less likely to splash over onto folks walking underneath. I would use either company again, without pause. Their pricing was very competitive, their estimate was very detailed, and I felt very comfortable with everyone that came out to work on my house. They deserve and have earned my strongest recommendation! Thanks for the great job and the flexibility to work around the weather issues that seem to keep coming up.

It went very good. I liked them. They were prompt and professional. They were friendly. They explained everything well.

They quoted $900 for the job. We wanted to air conditioned our garage, so we wanted to put the window in it. They are going to open a part in the wall to install the window and will try to match the brick as close as possible to the existing ones.

They were wonderful. He is the window expert as far as replacement windows. He did a wonderful job. It was an extensive repair. It was old casement windows that they had to get parts for and they cleaned everything beautifully. They oild the parts that needed to be oiled, fixed everything that needed to be fixed.

I was given an estimate that was agreed upon before the job. The crew that did the work was a great group. Considering the type of work they were doing it was quiet. My husband worked nights and was asleep during the day and he said he did not have any days during the work he could not sleep. Each one worked hard and answered any question that I had. A representative came out a few times to look things over and to inquire if I was pleased with the work, which I was. The work that was done on my home made it look like a completely different one and I am very happy with the end product. The estimate would have been the end price but I had some additional work done, other than that it was right on. The products used were of excellent quality. This was a small business that has grown considerably over the past year. I recommend Pittner Services. You will get a good fair price with quality materials and workmanship.

I had all new windows and a new front door assembly installed in my home. The work was done quickly and neatly and on schedule. The price was agreed on before the materials were ordered, there were no hidden or late charges. Installation was scheduled and completed on time. Workmanship is excellent. The old units and all materials from the installation were swept and removed before the crew left the site. Great Job. Highly recommended.
