I'm not a heavy typer when it comes to reviews, but I will say that I love them. They built the house of our dreams to our specifications. jamie is the contractor and was there all the time. He answered any questions we had immediately. He would fix any problems we had within 24 hours. Love the company.

Overall it went great and we really love our new house! We had picked out a lot and built our previous house ten years ago so we knew what to expect when working with a home builder. Pearson Homes blew those expectations out of the water. There are always things that come up during the construction process that just can't be predicted or planned. Pearson was quick to respond and quick to adapt or address any issues or concerns that we might have had. We made a few last minute changes after we had started building the house and Pearson Homes was able to move quickly and implement these changes for us. As an engineer I am extremely anal retentive when it comes to design, so I know that I drove the builder crazy with my daily emails with questions or concerns about the progress on the house. They never complained once and always addressed my concerns. Everything stayed on schedule for the most part, depending on weather. But when they got behind, they worked weekends to keep things on schedule. Our house was finished 3 weeks before they had originally promised. This was awesome as it gave us time to hang window treatments, pictures and do other things that are just easier to complete without furniture and boxes in the way. The home warranty they provide is also a nice feature. A few months after we moved in we noticed a problem with a flood light in the back yard and had problems programming our new high-tech hybrid heat thermostat. We filled out the online warranty request form and within a week the relevant subcontractors were back on site to correct both issues. There was no out-of-pocket expense for us what so ever. Did everything go perfectly? No, of course not. There are a few things we wish we had changed or that Pearson Homes would have done differently, but overall we were extremely happy with their product and service. Especially when compared to our previous experience with other home builders. If you are considering building a home in the Madison County area I would not hesitate to recommend Pearson Homes.

Buyer beware. If you are looking for a builder which builds track houses that are poor to good, look no further. This builder will use the lowest cost construction material available, cut corns and will never properly address your concerns. If you like being your own quality control, spending long hours on the construction site and having the site supervisor never really fix a problem without a fight, these guys are for you. Just a few examples of quality control issues: 1) First day could not unlock front door. 2). First week sewage system backed up in house, test ball left in discharge line. 3). First winter hot water system froze, unit not located on insulated wall as plans noted. When address to builder, reply: mistakes happen. The builder did correct the problems but no “I am sorry” nor was compensation offered for our discomfort. Mistakes just happen. Our site supervisor was knowledgeable, talked a good game but performed poorly. On a number of occasions he did not provide services I believe were contracted for, quality assurance oversight of subcontractors. Finally, if you intend to talk to a number of the subcontractors; a good understanding of Spanish will be helpful. I would think hard about building a home with this builder.
