They had to come out twice. The first time they came out, it was $79. The second time they came out, it was $98. The young man that came out the first time really didn't do much. So, when I called them to come back, I told them I didn't want that person and they sent out another person. The second person they sent out was okay. The second one was very prompt and came on time. The first one was late and we didn't know where on earth he was. We had to call the company to find out what was going on.

Mr. Appliance did a great job fixing our dryer. they had to order the part and it didn't come in until right before Christmas, but they got the job done even with Christmas right around the corner. We were extremely impressed. Would highly recommend them.

Contacted Mr. Appliance when oven door handle came loose after screw falling inside the door. After looking at things I realized the door would have to be taken apart and re-assembled to fix which was more than I trusted myself to do so they came out and repaired. Unfortunately something apparently amiss as when the oven was used after the outer glass panel shattered. They were very good in promptly coming back out assessing and then fixing the door with no additional charge. Michaelina was very responsive as far as providing window of time when they would arrive and calling when they were actually on their way. I was concerned that I might be hit with extra charge as in the end they may have ended up losing money on the repair but was pleasantly surprised when they did not so that tells me that they stand behind their work and impressed me so I give them a high recommendation!

He was very courteous. He was also punctual. Fixed it properly the first time.

My experience with them was fine. They fixed it. They called when he got lost and was a little late. I was satisfied with the experience.

Unfortunately, the microwave is 20 years old and parts are not available. I had to pay the required service fee which I was advised of ahead of time. When I requested the visit, the person on the phone was friendly and professional. Due to my work schedule, they added me on to the end of the day in order to provide me same day service. The technician did "rig" the microwave so I could still use it while I shop for a new one. The technician was professional, prompt, and friendly. He used a mat at the front door and wore "booties" to keep the house clean. I will use them again for large or small appliances.

Our above stove microwave had a problem. We immediately called Mr. Appliance. The ladies in the office and were very accommodating to get a technician scheduled. The technician arrived on-time and was very professional. He was very respectful of our home by wearing foot coverings and setting down pads to protect our counters and cabinets while working on the unit. He diagnosed the problem and gave us a couple of options to get it repaired. We liked the recommendations and agreed to get it repaired. We had previous experience with the other Dwyer Group Companies in the area; Mr. Electric and Aire Serv for our heating and air conditioning. We felt confident that we would get the same level of service from Mr. Appliance and we did. We definitely recommend Mr. Appliance as well as the other Dwyer Group companies: Mr. Electric and Aire Serv.

I called this morning with the problem and they were able to schedule an appointment this afternoon. Technician was very professional, timely and courteous. The problem was diagnosed during the service call. I wish I had called them sooner. I will use them again in the future.

Knowledgeable. I thought they had a reasonable policy, service and the flat rate to diagnose the problem then they gave me 30 days to commit to their estimate and the repair so that kind of took the pressure off. The agent that came out was neat, he worked neat, he was informative, told me what was going on and seemed very honest with what they were doing. They were right on time.

I waited for the to show up between 2-3pm and it was a no show. I rearranged my work schedule and I was very up set. I received a phone call 45 minutes after the time they should have showed stating they was still coming had to work so it was a turn off for me. If they would have called before the time they was supposed to have showed up I might used them. Very disappointing considering that received good reviews.

Technician arrived on time and diagnosed the issue quickly with our stove on Friday, jan 31. It was a six year old stove with a burner no longer working. He indicated we needed a new burner that he could have return the following Wednesday to install new burner. Technician returned as promised and installed exactly as promised. Burner is working.

I called the company who had the most points on Angie's List, but they didn't work on my brand/type of appliance, but recommended I call this company. So I called on Wednesday just before noon and was able to get an appointment the following morning. Greg, the technician, called at 0745 to say he was on the way. When he arrived he brought his on door mat and shoe covers, and helped me remove the food from the freezer so he could diagnose the problem. In less than 15 minutes he found the cause. Then he called to verify the replacement part was available locally, which it was, and he said he would drive into town to get it and be back within an hour or so to install it. After the repair had been made he offered to help me put all the food back in before he left. Greg was prompt, courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his company to anyone needing an appliance repair. I will definitely do business in with him again if the need arises.

He showed up on time, was extremely courteous, and had our washing machine running smoothly in just over an hour. Additionally, he showed me how to perform maintence on my washing machine, and gave advice on how to make things run more efficiently. I am extremely pleased with Mr. Appliance, and will most definitely be using them in the future for all my appliance repair needs!

Only problem was mix up on appointment. Was told repairman would be at house between 1 & 3. I called back at 3 and was told it was put in wrong and he would be there between 3 & 5 Jeremy the repairman was very nice and did a great job for us.

Did a neat quick job and suggestions for keeping the tub clean and the type of detergent to use.

Absolutely excellent service. Most repair services would not touch a 1947 refrigerator. The previous repair company just replaced the refrigerant, and within 3 months the refrigerator was not working. Jeremy, who was excellent, gave me two options - replace the refrigerant and come out again at no cost to me if it leaked, or repair a bullet valve (the likely cause), and still come out at no cost if that did not fix the problem. I chose the latter to try to fix the problem permanently. He came out again and spent hours fixing the system. He had a great attitude. He had to guess at the amount of refrigerant to sue since the unit was so old. So far it is working well. I would definitely use them again. They were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and willing to take on a job nobody else wanted.

Made a call at 10:00AM to request service and was told that they could have a technician there by 1:00PM on the same day, they arrived promptly at 1, identified the problems with both appliances, provided estimates to repair and upon approval, made the repairs per their estimate.

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!! Jeremy was amazing. Not only did he help me get the meat out so that he could access the parts of the freezer, but he also loaded it back when he was completed. He was courteous, efficient and worth every dime I spent! Last night I opened my freezer to find it warm. My son had taken something the day before from the freezer and failed to close it. As a result, many of the things in front had melted - but to my fortune, the bulk of the meat (I had 1/2 a cow) was still frozen or very cold. This morning, I checked on the freezer and some of the items in the door (bread, veggies, etc...) were still soft. I decided to give it a few more hours to see if it was just still cooling off. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Around 1pm, I got a bunch of dry ice and looked on Angies List for appliance repair. Mr. Appliance was at the top of the list. I called and explained that my freezer appeared to have gone out and if I could have someone come out and look at it. I was told that someone could come around 8am in the morning. I then explained that I had 1/2 a cow in my freezer and they fit me in. Someone would be at the house between 4 and 6pm. By 4:30pm, the freezer was fixed and I was able to salvage all of my meat!

Excellent experience both time I used this company.

I was especially grateful the technician (Jeremy) tried to see what was the least expensive repair job as opposed to going about just changing parts. So since the defrosting of the freezer section was enough and plugging up the leak in the water supply tube did the job it wound up costing way, way less than I expected.

Our 17 year old dishwasher quit working, it would not pump water into the machine. Two companies advised us to replace the washer since it was so old. I wanted to get an estimate to fix our old one since our color scheme was throughout the kitchen and we did not want to have an odd piece in the kitchen, which would probably have been the case if we replaced the original dishwasher. The company was courteous when we called and told us they would have the repairman call us before coming out. The young man called, gave us a two hour window when he would be out and he came early, which was good. He performed his inspection, gave us an estimate. His estimate included a flexible water hose to connect the dishwasher to our water system in lieu of the original copper tubing. I declined, thought the cost was high, besides the copper tubing had worked fine and did not appear to be unserviceable. He ordered the parts, told us it would be a couple of days. In a couple of days he called said they were in and gave us a two hour window when he could come out and install them. Once again, he was early, a good thing. He installed the part, did a performance check, everything was good , cleaned up the mess, reinstalled the front bottom cover, which I had taken off. He was very polite, kept us informed of what he was doing, clean, and timely. Great, we will definitely use this company again.

I have a new Frigadair refrigerator -- the ice maker does not dispense ice. I called the warranty office and they referred me to Mr. Appliance of Northern Alabama as the company that handels all of their warranty work for my area. They came out for the first appointment -- relatively on time (scheduled appointment 0800-1200 and showed up at 1:30). The man opened the frig looked at the ice maker and said "yep it's broke -- see a lot of these broke", closed the door and said he would order the parts and be back in 5-10 days I finally got a hold of them -- after several e-mails and voicemails asking about my service -- and scheduled an appointment in late September -- and after 2 missed appointments that cost me two days of leave they never showed or called. On the thrid appointment I was again slotted for 0800-1200 and the technician showed up at 5:30 in the evening with the wrong part. They claimed they have now ordered another part and would be back in 3-5 days to finish the job. I have never heard back from them and stopped trying to work with them in late Novembger when my warranty ran out. This is a BAD company -- don't waste your time.
