Kenneth McElroy Carpet Installation

Mr. McElroy was either a part owner, or a contractor for a company called FloorCo that has since gone out of business, but he continues to install flooring in the area. Following the initial work he did several months ago, I asked if he would be interested in another small job installing carpet on some stairs. He said he would, and took some measurements and gave me the name of another business to get the carpet cut and bound. This business took several months to get the work done, blaming the delay on a sick employee, however, I finally obtained the carpet ready for installation and contacted McElroy for the install. He informed me that he was working on a job but would schedule our installation next. Based on this several appointments were rescheduled and a vacation was delayed. McElroy did not show at the scheduled time, so I phoned him and left a message to call me. He called shortly afterwards and said he had transportation problems. I explained to him the schedule changes that had been made to accommodate the carpet installation and asked if I needed to come get him, or when he would be able to do the work - He abruptly told me to get somebody else to do the work and hung up the phone. McElroy is undependable, highly unprofessional and a mediocre carpet layer at best.
