Description of Work: I bought carpet for new construction house. | |I was able to find a carpet I liked. There was a large selection and the price was great. They came and measured the rooms and gave my estimate. Work was scheduled the next week and I am very happy with my selection.

+ 0 moreCarpet installation mediocre. Had to call back for puffs and seams. Seams still not hidden. Also, some trim poorly done, and resulted in refund to homeowner to do the work himself.

+ -1 moreThe hardwood flooring was defective. The boards were not a uniform size plus there were installation issues. I hired a certified hardwood inspector who said the issue was the installation. They hired an inspector who said the issue was the flooring. I finally concluded it was some of both. The floor has large gaps that catch everything and greatly distract from the attractiveness of the flooring. I was told the only way to fix it was to replace it. They agreed to do so but them reneged on their agreement. I had so many promises from them that it got ridiculous. They have given me the run around for the past 4 years. They ended up in a lawsuit with the manufacturer of the hardwood and gave me a $5,000 settlement. Since the floor cost $15,000, I can hardly replace it for what they gave me. They told me refinishing it might help some, but in talking to refinishers, I am told the gaps are far too wide for this to help. I am stuck with a floor that looks like five year olds installed it. I would never use them again for anything.
