They were prompt and professional. They did a good job. They were very good.

They did not get the edges properly. They splattered paint on our curtains and did not cover things properly. When I called to complain the owner came out and was balidgerant. I had to ask him to leave my home. I used a coupon from the val pak on the internet and they would not accept it. They said it was not valid. We had a go around about that and I ended up sending them the money on it. He turned around and then mailed the money back to me. We still have a a popcorn ceiling that is not done. Someone else told me that they should have just took all the popcorn off and re-popcorned it again. My living room now looks worse than when we started.

They came when they said they would be there. They did the job in the time I thought it would take. They completed it and it was a fair price. It was good work done.

Best experiance with a contractor I've had in many years.

They did a good job. They had to mill the wood to match the other pillar. I would recommend him to others.

The company itemized the jobs separately as I requested and the prices for each were all quite reasonable so I turned them on to do all the work. It turned out that the entire top of the brick mailbox had to be rebuilt. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the mason was able to match the mortar color to the original. He did get a little mortar on a few bricks but overall I was satisfied with the work. The carpenter discovered that besides the two shingles that had come loose there were about a dozen in that section that were originally nailed incorrectly. We added that to the work order and he spent a few additional hours ensuring they wouldn't also come loose. The carpenter did an excellent job of cutting a multitude of rotted soffit and fascia sections off and replacing them with new wood. There were several areas that were not on the original bid - a few that were missed in the bid and a few that weren't found until he got up on a ladder. We added those to the job while he was here. The painter did a great job painting all the soffits, fascia and gutters. The house has a lot of trim, including some up high in difficult to reach areas. Overall, I was pleased with the price, being able to quickly and without fuss add work to the contract during the job, the quality of work performed, the punctuality of the workers, the time it took (only a few days) and the good attitude of the guys performing the work.

I relocated for a new position with a company paid relocation allowance. That included a potential buyout on my home. The house was inspected as part of this process and the inspector identified numerous potential issues that could have ended up costing me 2 to 3 thousand. Housedoctors came out to originally give me an estimate and they highlighted that items the inspector said needed to be fixed were actually within building code and done correctly already. In addition, later the night after they finished the quote, they took it upon themselves to go on line and find me the sections of the Alabama building code and emailed them to me so that I could use that for support for why the work was not needed. Even though they could have made much more money by just agreeing with what the inspector said needed to be fixed, they did the right thing and it saved me a significant amount of money. They even provided me the support needed to convince the acquiring agency that the work was not needed and that the inspector they hired was simply wrong and did a poor job.

They were very professional and they were able to schedule a time to come out, give us a quote pretty quickly, and then were able to schedule the work quickly after that. They did a good job on everything we had asked them to do.

It turned out well. They did a very good job. Everything still works and my shower is no longer leaking. He showed me what he was doing and explained everything to me.

Same person to do the estimate was the one to do the actual work. He let us know our original faucet just needed some repair and we didn't need a new faucet. He also checked on other things while he was here and gave estimates, even knowing it was a future work/curiosity type thing and he gave advice on what to do before that additional work should be done (some potential issues needed to be looked at or else the repair work would need to be redone in the future) even though it was not work that his company would do. I would definitely call them again.

The service and the finished product were excellent.

Professional and did good work and on time and careful did the job

He was very helpful. We ended up not going with him because our work was so expensive that we needed a general contractor. And he told us that he could not do. He was a handyman and he could do drywall, repairs and stuff. But ours required some structural work and tearing the whole front of the house so it was beyond what he could do. Even though he did not do any work, he talked to us about all the other projects even though he knew he was not going to be doing it. He was very nice. I would go with him for another quote in the future.

I wanted to install wooden screen doors on all of my outside doors. They initially came and gave me an estimate. At that time he measured all my doors so I could then order the doors I wanted as each door was a different size due to the age of my house. The measurements were right on. The door I ordered fit perfectly. I then called House Doctors to install the door. Scheduling was the biggest issue. They have been swamped with repair jobs since the tornado season last spring. I did eventually get them but it took about 3 weeks. Once here though, they did fine. The door was installed which involved a door knob and a sweeper for the bottom of the door and he had to add wood to the door jam at the top as there is a transom which I did not cover. He was very professional and I was pleased with the work.

I never knew the importance of a home inspection on a newly constructed home. I found the company on Angie's List and he was the third one I tried. I didn't realize how busy these people were. The office staff were very friendly, very responsive and completely competent. I had an 8:00 a.m. appointment with the inspector and he showed up promptly at 8:00. I let him in and left. He returned the key to the sales office. The report was due the following morning, but we received it that same evening. We were very impressed with the company. I saw the other services the company does and will definitely use the company should I be in need of the other services.

They did a wonderful job and we were pleased with the services. We will considert this company again when we need this type of service. They showed up on time ans were willing to answer questions in detail.

This was an excellent experience. We had a list of handyman projects that we could not do. The estimator came out and evaluated the job and issued the estimate. The scheduler originally scheduled the work several weeks later for the first available date, but when she heard that the garage door was not functioning, she called two days later with an earlier date due to a cancellation. The gentleman that did the work was helpful and professional. He also advised us on repairs to our brick facing around the doorbell and the one item that was not repairable. I would highly recommend House Doctors Handyman division and will use them on future repair projects.

WOW! WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Once I called, they scheduled an appointment to estimate the job. They arrived on time, provided a fair priced estimate (well at least for most of the job). I originally asked them to estimate painting all exterior windows but opted out of that work due to cost. They adjusted the estimate without hassle. They set the work to occur in about 10 days, but called the next day and asked if they could move the date up an entire week --First time I have had a contractor do the job sooner than originally estimated. Dave showed up on time and treated my spouse as a gentleman should. When I got home this evening, I went to look at his work. He used newer type of materials to prevent the water damage from reoccurring, and I could not tell where the new work started and the original wood ended--absolutely a professional job. And that includes the work that he did to the door. The damaged piece was between the faces of the door and he was able to repair the damage and I can not tell that it was ever damaged. BTW the lady at the office, Le Ann as I recall, was very polite and professional in our telephone conversations. These guys contact information in something I intend to keep.

We needed quick repair of several rotted boards due to refinancing inspection. We called , they took care of it within a week and did a fine job.

Pretty simple: quote, date set (changed once by me), kept appointment and installed the door, did very good job. Very pleased, will hire them again.

Dave, the workman, arrived at the time scheduled and finished all work in five hours. His workmanship was excellent, with care to details. Moved between jobs to allow sealant or primers to cure before proceeding with successive stages of repair. Carpentry work done on site was exceptional which gave finished work a clear professional edge. He cleaned up the area after work was finished. Initially, I thought the estimate was a little high for the work that was to be done. However, I would rather pay someone well, for an exceptional job. This is our first experience with Angies List, and we were very pleased with our selection.

They came when they said that they were going to arrive and they did what they said that they were going to do. They were on time which was very important. The job was relatively small. They nailed it and it looked like new with no complaints. The job cleanup was not done which was a small thing. Their price was on a higher side.

They were very couteous, professional, and it was a great. We did not go with them because of the price. They were on time and responsive.

They were on time, reasonably priced. Project took longer than should because of trying to save time and steps. As a consequence this finish was not as good as it could have been. I did sign off on the project because of the effort to make it right.
