Description of Work: My husband went into A-fib in the fall of 2010. Dr. Campbell treated him in the hospital and was supposed to do the follow-up. After a cursory exam and a few tests, Dr. Campbell pronounced John's condition as "an enigma," which he promised to get to the bottom of. His follow-up was little to non-existent. A year later, John suffered another A-fib event and this time they did more tests discovering that he had a leaking valve. By this time, however, his liver and lungs were severely compromised and no heart surgeon would perform surgery to fix the valve. In September 2011, I asked Dr. Campbell what John's prognosis was. He never gave us any answer. We had no idea how near death he was. In fact, Dr. Campbell planned to have him transferred to rehab to regain the health he had prior to the last heart event. Instead, we went to Vanderbilt, supposedly for John to have valve surgery. Instead, Vanderbilt accepted him because the records that Dr. Campbell provided could not be read at Vanderbilt. His conditioned was pronounced "inoperable" at Vanderbilt and he was given only days to weeks to live. Had we know the state of things, his last few weeks would have been much different and less stressful for him. Dr. Campbell's care was shameful. He is a disgrace.

Description of Work: I thought I might be having a heart attack (had tightness in chest and left hand was tingling). After a little while this was still happening so I went to emergency room at Crestwood Hospital. Dr. Kelly Smith was the cardiologist who saw me. he did EKG, stress test etc. The last thing he did was a heart cathetherization.
