I called sometime late in Oct. 2012. I wanted to get a price quote for two pallets of sod for my back yard. The business phone line was always busy. I called several times over a two day period at different times during the day. Finally, the line was not busy and I got someone to answer. The person on the phone wasn't very professional. It was as if, they were doing me a " great favor" in just giving me a quote. So I decided not to purchase from them. However, on my next project, I will give them another try. I believe that you shouldn't base your opinion on just one encounter from someone over the phone. Because who knows what was going on at that time in which the sales person answer my call. Most likely, if I decide to try Hobbs Sod Farm again, I will try to go in person to their location. But if I do go in person or if I decide to call again and I get the same unprofessional treatment again. Iwill ask for the manager and/or owner. And if that person is the manage and/or owner you can bet that I will never use this company again. And that Angies' List will be the first that I will tell about it.
