Description of Work: Replaced AC unit, installed zone system. Very prompt and courteous. Arrived and installed the unit when they said they would. Came back and made adjustments right away when we had questions.

Description of Work: Replaced a pressure regulating valve by water heater that was leaking. The repairman was excellent. We would have paid $348.95 but there was a warranty of the part for $150. My problem with Hiller is that we have a contract with them for service that we pay yearly and yet we still get charged a fee for coming out to diagnosis the problem. Also, we called earlier in the day. The repairman came at 10:30 at night. The good thing aabout Hiller is that someone will come eventually even on the weekend. The bad is their rates are higher than other places with which we have dealt. We paid $10,000 for our heating and air unit outside. We have since found out the same unit sells for $6,000. However, Hiller will service it twice a year.

Description of Work: I won't get the exact dates or prices exactly correct on this, but the last time I used Hiller Plumbing, it was 1-2 years ago. I had a slow drain in the kitchen sink. I had used them the year prior for the same problem, which they fixed for about $120. I downloaded the $99 coupon from their website "$99, it flows or it's free". To make a very long story short, they could not clear the drain. My house is about 40 years old and has older pvc (3"?) drain pipes. The plumber claimed that he would have to change out all the pipes to current codes in order to clear the drain. Ha! That's when I told him to leave after they had been there about 2 hours. They asked for the $49 b/c they changed out a trap under the kitchen sink so that they could use their drain snake (which I wasn't aware of). Reluctantly, we paid them so that they would leave. Another company cleared the drain the very next day after about 30 minutes of work with no drama or guilt. I initially gave them an "F" rating after I became an Angie's List member. They sent me my money back when they reviewed my rating! I thought that was nice, which is why I'm upgrading them to a C, which is generous to say the least. PS- Hiller, do NOT call me ever again!
