Response time was much better than I was expecting. Once he got there, the tech was extremely thorough. When he identified the problem to the motor, he did two things: he checked the old motor to see if it was within a warranty period (I was pretty sure it was not), and he called the unit mfr to make sure that the motor he had on his truck would fit the unit. This unit has been worked on by several other service providers, and apparently the last one had the motor that went bad wired in backwards. The fact of the matter now is that the system is blowing maybe 2x the cold air that it was before, with no bearing noise. After the rough summer we've had, I'm not surprised it needed work. I did some price comparisons online for the motor, and the price they charged was pretty reasonable, considering the guy was there for about 4 hours, and didn't stop long enough to sneeze the whole time.

They are very good. They have a great modo and a happy service club you can join so you get a percentage off and they put you at the top of their priority list as well. I wanted toilets replaced like the ones they had done before but when they installed it one looked the same and the other didn't. I was not here when they installed so when I got home I called them and said I was not happy with one of the toilets. They sent a guy out to look at it and he said that they changed their standard toilet. The guy went back to the shop and found me one of the old standard toilets. I was very pleased with his service. They always show up on time.

It was pretty good. They are not necessarily cheap but they are good. I feel that they are expensive. I haven’t done a lot of price checking but I have kept them for years and I am not sure what to compare them to.

We had just bought our first house and after moving in we noticed that are water hookups for the washing machine were in poor condition. Our house was built in 1977 and the hoses and spigots appeared to be original. One spigot could not even be turned on and the other's handle was broken and would spray water everywhere when turned on. We called Hiller after reading their reviews on Angie's List and they got someone out to us that same day! When the plumber arrived, we explained the problem and he pulled out his pricing list. He explained how they charge by the job, not by the hour. So whether our repairs took one hour or five, we would be charged the same price. We really loved that there was no hidden fees. Our plumber spent over an hour removing the old hookups (he said our spigots were some of the worst he had ever seen) and replacing everything. True to his word, he charged us the fee we were quoted. We were so impressed with signed up for the Happy Hiller Club. Two months later, we have had no problems at all with our new hookups and we will be doing business with Hiller again!

A/C compressor stopped working on a Saturday night. Left a message with the One Hour answering service to please call me the following Monday morning to schedule an appointment - this was not an emergency on my part but I wanted my A/C fixed as soon as possible during normal business hours. To my disappointment, I did not receive a call the following Monday morning as I was expecting, so I called One Hour around 11:30am Monday. They seemed to know about my issue, so I was surprised they did not call me. I was disappointed by their lack of responsiveness this respect. One Hour gave me the afternoon time window and was there by 13:30. Price was a fair price for the work - the compressor capacitor was bad and this is a typical problem for a 6 year old a/c system. So for not calling me in the morning, I dinged One Hour for responsiveness, but they were punctual and showed up on time when I re-called them that Monday morning. The technician was polite, professional and he expected to be a bad capacitor, which was correct. The problem was quickly fixed and a/c was back on in no time. I can recommend One Hour and I will probably sign a service agreement with them.

a service tech in my tThe tech had to check to see if the board was under waranty. It wan't and had to be replaced. He left and came baclk 2 days later and replaced the old board. My gripe with Hiller is that every time we have caled them for some kind of service, the technician always trys to sell us additional services. either a whole house water filtration system or something else we don't need. When I let a service tech in my house I expect him to fix whatever is wrong and not subject me to some high pressure sales pitch. It's a pain and the Hiller people do it every time. Last time was the last.

I went with them because when I needed my heat pump replaced that’s just the company that had the best estimate and best offer at that time.

It's been a couple years since I've used them but I remember their professionalism. They're very up-front about costs & explain fees very well before they do any work. I’ve used them a couple times. I’ve been really impressed with how they operate - their professionalism & customer service is outstanding. They also have a 24 hour emergency line.

I have split units and on Sunday night my AC was running but the upstairs never got below 80 degrees. Called on Monday morning and they had someone out by 12:45 and an hour later the AC was back on but the power went off. By that night I was cool again. Told me my unit was on its way out but I know I have that in the future. Thanks guys.

They came on a Friday and that night the A/C broke. Since they do not work on the weekend, they couldn't come back out until Monday, leaving us without air conditioning the entire weekend. They fixed whatever the problem was, but they claimed it had nothing to do with their tune-up. I'm not sure if this is true because it was working fine until they performed the tune-up.

They call you the day before as a reminder, then the call you the morning of and if for some reason they are running late they will call and let you know. They do a really good job.They come twice a year to check the systems.

We have used all their services. We are a one house stop for them. I know they do a good job. They replaced our water heater and installed two air-conditioning units over the past 10, 15 years. They have replaced all of our toilets, gave us a whole new range of turbo toilets. They are outstanding and have done good work for us. They are very pleasant. They are a little pricier than most of the competition. For us that is acceptable since they stand by what they do.

I was not able to be home when the workmen arrived, but my sister was there. The work was completed promptly and the leak was stopped. AFTER the repair I spoke to the repairman on the phone and he told me there was no warranty on the work performed. He wrote "no warranty" on my receipt. Printed on the back of the receipt they claim to offer a 5 year warranty!! I am not unhappy with the service or price, but I expect any worthwhile company to stand behind their work, or, if not offering a warranty, to inform me before the work is performed. They claim to offer "the BEST warranty in middle Tennessee," but in fact provided me with no warranty!

They did a great job on fixing my air. I am happy with their services so far and I would use them again. I have also used them for some plumbing work.

They got it right and knew what exactly was going on. I spent about $10,000 for air conditioning and the plumbing work cost me $150. They were very good. When they came in they inspected the house and they actually went to the corners of the house to see if there was room. They did measurements and they sat down and talked to us about our options. We had a couple of other places come in and neither of them did anything. They came back and followed up with us and they were very professional. They know exactly what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. The person who was there over the 2 days was very professional and very good about taking care of stuff. They cleaned up the mess and they never left anything for us to do. They were professional and they did their homework when they came. They checked everything before they made a cut and they measured everything. They knew where exactly they were going to put all the vents and everything. The price was exceptional. They were a little more expensive than the other ones but the quality of work that we got was worth the extra expense. They didn’t try to up sell us any of the high things. They told us not to go for the most expensive things because you don’t really need it. They told us what would be enough for our needs and I liked the fact that they didn’t try to up sell us something that we didn’t need. The quality was outstanding. We have not had a single issue with the work that was done. They come out every six months to check and clean the system. They included the first year cleaning in the initial price so we didn’t have to pay for the first 2 cleanings and inspections. They were able to come in and do all the work that they had promised. They had all the materials ready. They called us and told us that they would be able to work between certain dates and when they materials were ready they called us and asked to work with our schedules. They were very good about scheduling and responsiveness. It wasn’t more than a month since we called them and had the system installed. It happened in two weeks. They were here precisely when they said they would be. They checked out everything before they made one change or cut in the structure. They showed us everything and they told what they were going to do and when they were going to do it.

They came back and fixed the problem. Mr. Hiller called me back and they came out and fixed the problem better than it was. He didn't charge me for fixing the situation. He was very nice and he refused to take any additional money. His crew was very helpful and they checked everything. I'm a extremely pleased with the results.

Their prices were very reasonable. The workers were very nice and curtious to us.

They are professional. I cannot think of using another plumber. They have a club membership that you can join They come anytime of the day or night. They guarantee all their work. I have never had a problem with them. The quality of their work is above average. They are currently doing work for me.

They had a special and it was supposed to be $200 normally. They came out and inspected the heating and air conditioning system and made sure it was in working order. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.
