The call was made on a Saturday morning and HIller showed up before noon. The service man was courteous and professional, cleaned up everything before he left. I'm a journeyman pipefitter, (many years ago) and I could tell we had a very knowledgeable person perform the service.

They are super. It was fairly expensive, we had to have two units installed because of the size of our house and it was outrageous but it was what we wanted them to do. I do not think that they are the cheapest, but I think they were quite competent.

The technician was on time, friendly and experienced. He checked the unit and found the unit was low on refrigerant, which was causing the unit to freeze up. He said he could not charge the unit with refrigerant until he had located and fixed the leak and that the costs would be high. The following day still with no air conditioning, I called a second company and asked them if my home AC unit was low on refrigerant, how could I get it filled until I could research new unit replacement. The company sent a technician to my house, he checked the AC unit and confirmed it needed refrigerant, and filled the unit. My AC unit began working normally again and remained operating normally until it was finally replaced a week later. I asked the second company about the matter of putting refrigerant in a unit without fixing the leak. They said this matter does not apply to residential units.

They were all on time, they worked quickly and efficiently, answered all my questions, cleaned up all the mess. They were the best company I have ever dealt with ever!

Called because upstairs air conditioning was not able to keep the house cool. Service call was very polite, appointment was the next day within the timeframe discussed, a courtesy call 30-min before was received and the technician's arrived promply and were very courteous. They checked the system pressure when I advised that I had needed 1 # of freon added 3 seasons ago and likely have very slow leak in my system. The pressure check confirmed that the system was slightly low on freon. They said they could not add freon due to EPA restrictions, they would have to find the leak (estimate of $250 - even though it's 99% likely to be in furnace coil) and then estimated another $1500 to repair. I said I wanted to add freon since the leak was obviously extremely low, but the technician's refused. I was uncomfortable taking their word for it given the fact I have had my AC systems "topped off" in the past without an issue. I called another AC company, explained the discussion with the "One Hour" technicians and was told they were correct for Commercial systems, but no such regulation exists for residential, at least that is remotely enforced. He said the industry standard is that unless it's likely a significant leak, the HVAC companies can charge the system. So, this confirmed my suspicion that it was just a sales pitch using the "EPA rules" as an excuse. I had freon added and my system is again working flawlessly. I am not one to want to ruin the ozone layer, so a leak does need to be fixed, but when we're talking 1 pound every three years....they lose that much from losses plugging up the gauges to the units during the course of a couple days. I would have paid close to $2000 if I can taken their word. When I explained what happened to a friend who works in HVAC but no longer lives locally, he guessed the company right away and said they're known for this "scam" by the others, and he said some have followed suit to get more business. I am more than willing to pay for repairs and do the right thing, but I don't like the be hussled in the name of rules and regulations. I'm glad I sent them away and I don't recommend them to anyone who wants to trust that the repairs are necessary. In addition to quality work, I feel a strong need to trust someone I do business with. And I don't trust this company anymore.

My cooling was not working. I called them and they showed up that night at 5. They did an inspection and the unit had a leak and was out of freon. They suggested instead of fixing the leak to just replace the unit. They were our at 8:15 the next morning and were done by 2:30. They were very polite and friendly, the gave me a good deal.

They are a pretty big company and they have offices all over the city. They are very prompt. Compared to other companies, they are a little bit cheaper. The plumbing is very hard to get cheap and it seems really reasonable. They are very professional. When they say they are going to be there, they are going to be there.

Once they got here and checked everything out they tried to sell us stuff that we really didn't need, don't feel that we need. Our fan just went out in our furnace and it runs the furnacing and the vent for the furnace and the air-conditioner. When it went out we have a warranty and I called them and they sent a someone to help and he looked at it and found what was wrong and fixed it. It was a wire off that I think that the employees from Hiller Plumbing that came and checked my furnace loosen the wire so we would call them back. I just don't trust them.

Have been in the Happy Hiller club for several years. They check HVAC twice a year and plumbing once a year for one fee. If something goes wrong with the HVAC and it was not detected when they did the check up, the will repair it at no charge. Very polite employees. After the flood they came to my house on a Sunday to pump water out of the basement.

Both men were great, courteous and on time.AC had a leak and they showed me my various options. Gave me a competitive price for a new unit vs the repairs. 10 year warranty on parts AND LABOR plus a touch screen programmable thermostat.

Service man arrived on time and was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He tested all units and advised the condition of each unit. One of the units (not installed by Hiller) required a part replacement. He checked and confirmed that the unit was still under warrantee and only charged for the labor. Before he left, he asked if there was anything else that might require his help. Great Company!

Outstanding! All representatives were very professional and personable. They answered all our questions and were very efficient. The scheduler even made room for our install in a very hectic schedule because of our dire situation, being Summer in Alabama. You could tell these guys were all experts! Thanks again to Kevin, Chad, Matt and Jeremy for a job well done!

Did NOT give me a receipt when I paid with credit card. Said it would be sent via e-mail. Work done on Tuesday, I had to call Hiller and speak to Beth on 5/10 (who I talked to when making the appointment) and tell her I did not get receipt. Also told her I needed in writing the estimate to replace pipes in basement. She said that was two differend things, and she woujld e-mail me the receipt for work done and regarding the estimate, she would get in touch with Joseph to get that estimate. To this date, 5/24, I still have not copy of the estimate. VERY bad customer service experience. and NO I would not recommend Hiller.

I had a scheduled appointment for between 2 and 4 for spring/summer HVAC servicing. The representative arrived on time, was friendly, and did a good job.

They're friendly, professional, skilled and do the work correctly the first time. They are always on time.

They are very reliable, very neat, and do quality work. Furthermore, they are very trustworthy, and I feel completely at ease having them work in my house.

The maintenance technician showed up on time. He was very personable. He unclogged my drain and installed my new garbage disposal within the time estimate that he had told me. I am pleased with the work.

Overall it went very well: A/C cooling against in two zones as it should, the condensate is flowing out the outflow tube, and life is good...now that its fixed.

I joined the Hiller customer club for $149 per year (for two units), so this was part of my annual inspection package. The package includes a heating tune-up in the fall, cooling tune-up in spring, and annual plumbing inspection. The technician was polite and professional. He was on time and called shortly before arriving. He explained all that was done and advised on how to deal with an aging unit. Very pleased with the service.

Was a great overall experience. They showed up on time and did exactly what was needed to fix my issue.

While replacing a water heater, I noticed that the water pressure at an outside spigot was running around 90. I was going to adjust at the PRV but it was rusted to the point where the locking nut just fell off. I called Hiller in the morning and they had a technician, Zach, at the house that afternoon. I explained to him what I had seen and he verified everything and gave me the cost of the repair. He finished the PRV replacement within an hour and stayed a little longer to make sure everything was working and then he set the pressure to what I wanted it to be. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the technician that was sent and will definitely use their services again for plumbing and AC services.

Prior interaction was not performed due to a variety of issues. On return, the work was performed in accordance with my needs. The company reimbursed me my 2 hours of leave from my work. Mr Shane Claud, Hiller representative, came to my house and "smoothed" the issue over. He was able to get my reimbursement for missed work. Yesterday, I received an acknowledgement letter from Jimmy Hiller and 2 free Applebees gift cards. Thank you!
