He told us that we needed a new disposal. I like him because he answers questions. He has a good and fair price, on time, friendly, talk you through the process, and he's personable.

They always do a very thorough job and do a great job of explaining things.

Seemingly fine, until earlier this month when I contacted another HVAC company to inspect a flex line that was not working. Indeed there was a problem, but it should have been a simple solution. Unfortunately, the electrician found the HVAC had not been properly installed or grounded and was consider a FIRE HAZARD. The following documentation was provided in writing: "The current electrical is not safe to operate. The tech found that the line voltage wire ran into the unit was not legally hooked up. The tech noted the original installer (HILLER) had #10 Romex piggy backed off the entrance side of the heater kits breaker which aloud a 110 amp potential on a 30 amp wire. The tech tech will return to make the repairs and make the unit safe to operate."

Impressive! Had service call on 01/03/2014. Was told unit needed replaced. 01/04/2014 unit was replaced. Matt, Jeremy and Michael were excellant.

Repair technicians was prompt and informative. Sales manager was available after hours. Installers were curtious and knowledgeable. Urgent nature of work precluded price comparison with competitors.

My gas furnace quit working during one of the recent severe cold snaps in the area. The cold weather caused an exposed drain pipe to freeze and create a block. The drain was for draining condensates away from the furnace. The drain water backed up into the furnace causing it to shut down. I only knew that the interior temperature of the house was dropping and the furnace wasn?t working. I called All Seasons One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning at 6am on a Saturday morning and they were there by 930am. The technician was polite, professional and quickly diagnosed the problem, bypassed the frozen pipe, and got the furnace working. He showed me how to repair the drain pipe once the weather warmed back up, and even left supplies to complete the pipe repair. All Seasons One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is the only HVAC service provider that offered Saturday service at no additional charge. Their office/appointment staff was courteous and completely understanding and got a tech to my home quickly. I was so impressed that I signed up for their annual service plan. I would use them again.

The technician came over 45 minutes early which was completely unexpected. He said he phoned earlier and though he did not reach me showed up early anyway. Good thing I was dressed for the day. He put booties on his shoes so as not to soil the floors which I appreciated. The work seems alright. My biggest complaint is the ridiculously high charge for the service. I feel Hiller is gouging those of us customers who do not join the Hiller Club and pay $99 annually to get a discount for services. I'm a senior citizen and must watch my pennies so cannot afford to join these types of clubs. I've used Hiller for years and have never experienced this price gouging before. Three years ago is the last time using Hiller to completely replace an outside faucet -- saw off the old faucet, replace with a new frost-free faucet, welding, included and the cost was only $165.00. Two guys came out and completed the job which seems much more complicated than the work I had done today. I will no longer be using Hiller for my plumbing needs!

The work involved two plumbers and took one day to replace the water lines and a second day to replace the drain lines. In coming months, I will have them upgrade a half-bath, replace the water line coming from the meter into the house, and check the drain line going to the city sewer line.

The owner sent a letter with a special offer and a surprise gift (in the order of about $285 as I recall) just for responding. A "comfort consultant" came to assess the heating/cooling requirement. The alleged "consultant" misidentified the existing equipment and gave proposed prices for a heat-pump.(he called for help to get the prices for a split-gas system.) The manufacturer was not named until asked. There was no mention of the BTU requirements or ratings until the supervisor appeared to help with a sale. I asked if there were brochures on the proposed equipment. While replying in affirmative, none was offered nor were model numbers offered. (which I might have used to see if products had a consumer rating). The hand-written list of features for the "heat-pump" didn't change when if was now identified as a split-gas unit with a higher price. There was also no information provided about the proposed heating unit. Neither the "consultant" or an office caller to check on my decision was aware of a "gift offer" in the letter (in fact the caller stated that there was no offer (period)). That's a moot point except to note that it was clearly a "gimmick" and rather than provide technical information they were really just fishing for an easy sale.

Very pleased- they were on time, courteous, they gave us all of our options in detail, and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished.

Our HVAC died 1/23/14, late Thursday night. We called the next morning and Adam came out quickly to diagnose the problem as a dead heat exchange. He carefully explained our options and the associated costs, helping us to come to the right decision for us. As most units have about a 10 year lifespan, we chose to a buy a new, American-made Amana unit. (This purchase included some surprising, free warranties. For example, they GUARANTEE that workers will respect your property & you and not use foul language.) They installed the unit on that same day - even staying until 10pm to ensure we had heat the 2nd night of our dilemma. (They will return to finish with ductwork and flashing later.) The important thing is, we have heat! Installers Jeremy and Jonathon were as professional, personable, and thorough as Adam had been and even took time to correct a venting problem that we weren't even aware of. They worked for hours in the cold and dark - with good humor - to ensure we slept in comfort that very night. It was a pleasure to do business with this company, and we have every reason to believe that we will ALWAYS be glad we chose them.

They were really great. Not to say they are perfect, but if they don't do something right, they will come back, fix it and even refund your money.

The Hiller repair guys went in the attic were the furnace is located and found the hidden damper knob that was part of the vent system that had been closed. They switched the lever from heat or cool. Who knew? My upstairs and downstairs are now comfortable.

The receptionist promptly answered the phone, but when I inquired about scheduling a service provider to come out to repair a slow flushing toilet, I was told there was no way to provide such a quote, because it "depended" upon what was wrong with the toilet. As I knew most likely it had something to do with the flush valve or water level in the tank, I knew it would be a fairly simple fix. Although I explained I understood she could not quote an exact price, I simply wanted to get an idea of how much to budget for such a repair, she again said "it depends". The best I could get out of her was that it would be an $85 fee for a Hiller repairperson to just drive to my house, not including any service work once he arrived. I opted to not hire Hiller if I could not get even a ball park cost of service work, and if it was going to be an $85 service fee for them to just show up...especially since they advertise a $99 inspection fee for plumbing. Ultimately, I hired someone else who determined within seconds of looking at the toilet the setting on the flush valve was set to not allow enough water in the tank, thus not enough water to adequately flush the toilet. Please note: I have heard excellent reviews of Hiller, and really wanted to hire them, but felt like I should have been able to get a range of potential cost, especially as I was very careful to explain I knew the final repair cost would be determined upon what was discovered on site.

I called late Saturday afternoon as my heat pump had quit working. The emergency gas back up was working so it was not an absolute emergency and we agreed for the repair on Sunday. I received a call at 7:00 on Sunday morning and the tech arrived before 8:00. The tech was great, found a broken wire, made the repair quickly and for a Sunday a very reasonable price. This is my 3rd experience with Hiller and they have not disappointed me in any of their services.

The price was low because I joined the Happy Hiller Club - 3 visits a year for plumbing, AC and heating. He arrived on time and was not in a hurry. I trust this company to get it right the first time!

Folks if you are looking for the best possible Plumbing H/C outfit look no further. Hiller is the best. i never get those extended warranties or anything like that but i did get their yearly service which is 179ish. because i have two Air conditioners and if you want them to come out to your house without if it would cost you 79 without doing anything. this service is worth it as they come out 4 times a year to check up on your heating and Air units. I also had a unit that leaked from addic and damaged my hardwood floors and my ceiling. now this is where a company always points the finger and trys to not pay for the damages. Hiller owned the damages from the start and had someone out there right away to put an estimate to fix it. they came out and fixed it and the job costs about 3800. they didnt blink twice about it and they wanted me to be happy period. they even called back to make sure i was satisfied with the job that was performed by their claims department. This is a perfect example of an amazing company who will take care of you when things go wrong. i would highly recommend them to anyone. make sure to get the yearly protection. they really are there to help and not try and find stuff to add on your bill. they have a customer for life. norm

Hiccups in the beginning but Hiller made it right. I have to admit I was not initially impressed with how things were going but this company came through to exceed my expectations. The service techs are respectful, clean and trustworthy. The most impressive thing Hiller exhibits is if the customer isn't happy they are not happy. Everyone hates taking the time off work for the service guy to come to their home. No one likes the parade of strange techs throughout their home. The worst is the rude and crude service, the rough looking techs and the foul language in your home. Hiller has my ultimate respect for getting this right. If customer service, respect and service after the sale are important to you, Hiller is your company. I'm sure you can find cheaper companies in the area but no where will you find the "make it right" and customer respect Hiller has for their clients. This is not a once and done company, once you experience Hiller service none other will measure up. Sorry Angie's list, I will not need any other referrals for plumbing and HVAC. I've found my go to company.
