Description of Work: I have a service contract with this comapny. They have great service and they do good work. They are just a little higher priced than competitors.

Description of Work: We have lived in our houwse for two and half years. The first time we turned on our AC unit in April 2009, it did not cool. Since we did not have a preferred HVAC repair company we chose All Seasons because their ad in the telephone directory indicated they specialized in servicing the brand we have in our home (Rheem). They came out promptly and determined that we had a leak in the condenser coil. They called back the next day to give us an estimate, which seemed reasonable, and to tell us it would take about a week to order and receive the part. We told them at that time that it was important that the unit be functioning no later than two weeks due to the fact that we were hosting a charity event in our home that would be attended by approximately 125 people. After 8-9 days we had not heard from All Seasons. We called them only to be told that the part was delayed. When asked why they didn't call us to inform us of the delay, they apologized but couldn't explain. We stressed again that we had an absolute deadline to have a functioning unit. They assured us the part would come from their distributer in plenty of time. 2 - 3 days before our party, we called them back to check on the status of the part. At that time we were told that the part had to be manufactured and would be put on a truck the next day. Obviously, the repair would not be completed in time for our event. When we asked why they had been so lax in following up with us, we were not given an explanation. If they been professional in their communications with us, we could have attempted to make other arrangements, up to and including purchasing a new unit. Their poor communication prevented us from exploring that option. Despite that very bad experience, we allowed All Seasons to service us a couple of other times. We couldn't understand why a unit that was only 4-5 years old was so unreliable. This spring, the unit did not cool when turned on for the first time. I contacted another HVAC repair company, which sent a serviceman out that afternoon. The serviceman, persisted in exploring the root of the problem until he found a problem that occured when the unit was installed. He performed a simple procedure that I hope will result in improved reliability from our unit. Although All Seasons did not install our unit, they did attempt to service it on three or four separate occasions. It is very disappointing to know that in addition to the mishandling of our original problem, they failed to diagnose and repair the root problem. We will never use All Seasons again....we won't have to since we now have a very professional and competent company to provide us service. When the time comes to replace our unit, we will also purchase our new HVAC system from our new friends. I very rarely submit these kinds of reviews but the indifference demonstrated by All Seasons management when we had our original problem and the failure of their repair staff to uncover the root problem leads me to warn others to be very precise in their expectations of All Seasons and to hold them to their commitments regardless of the excuses they offer for their failures.

Description of Work: Sewerage backed up in toilet, shower, and sink and flooded bathroom and adjacent carpeted room. They searched for cut out in yard for sewer pipe. They found the sewer, but apparently no cut out (or whatever it's called) which they could enter with equipment to clean the pipe from outside. Instead they removed the toilet bowl and were able to clean the sewer from there. It took two people 3 or 4 hours, but they charge by the job and not by time spent. At each stage of the job they indicated what that would cost. The principal plumber seemed competent and well-equipped. I was not happy because of the cost, yet I did not think it was unreasonable
