Our experience with Earth Stone was an absolute nightmare! We did our homework and thought this clean cut, nice looking man was perfect for what we needed. Sergio painted our bedroom, bathroom, basement. He repainted our basement 4 times. After talking to the paint store we realized it was because he did not use a primer that our paint bubbled. The painting of our bathroom and bedroom need to be redone.It is an absolute mess! The caulk used for our crown molding has separated throughout both rooms.Our oil based closet doors need to be repainted. I could cry! There are holes in our ceiling near can lighting he installed. Faucets installed incorrectly. Cracked a leg of our new cabinets, fixed the crack, the crack is there again only worse. He forgot to install a piece in our toilet, which leaked until we recently hired a plumber. he got oil base paint all over our textured patio because he did not use a drop cloth. upon doing plumbing it leaked all over our basement and we had to replace ceiling tiles. Sergio had a contract with us. At that time he said he would contract out plumbing, electrical. As far as I know he is not licensed to do this work, he did that work also. Upon hiring Sergio we gave him a list of days we would be out of town. He promised he would get the work done in a timely manner but never started before 11:AM. He was confronted many times about his tardiness. Each evening he would say; "See you about 8:30". That never happened. He would not show up for work We repeatedely had conversations with him over his schedule, his work. he would then try to hurry and do more. Example, he painted our large bedroom in one day, including the ceiling. He started at 3PM. At 10PM my husband asked him to leave! I could go on. If you are installing granite, or doing any kind of tile work I believe Earth Stone will do a good job. As a general contractor, PLEASE RECONSIDER!
