DIRECT WIRELESS

The installer (claimed to be third party) informed me over the phone he would arrive at my house around 9 am in the morning. He showed up at my house around 12 PM and informed me he was late because of his bowels. He had "stomach issues." I showed him the tv's and the only request I made installation wise was to not place the satalite on the front of my house. As he was unpacking the boxes he proceded to inform me of his personal beliefs. He is convinced the government is out to kill off 80% of the population by poisoning the water we drink, poisoning baby formula, placing cancer in vaccinations etc. He is also convinced all doctors are part of this conspiracy. He also asked me not to tell anyone he showed me dvd's and paperwork on his beliefs that he carried around in his clipboard. The installer told me he had already gotten in trouble with his boss for showing clients anti-government information. At one point, he got on his I-Phone and pulled up a talk radio station "confirming" his views. I was afraid to disagree with him and listened out of politeness for almost 10 minutes. He did not leave until 8:40 that evening. I had to text my husband at work to have him come home and shoe him off. And to top it all off, he wasn't able to connect the satalite and give us service. I spent almost 9 hours trapped in my house with this guy wasting a day of my life. If I had only known you shouldn't need over 2 hours to install a satalite, I would have called and requested another installer sooner. This installer claimed I was missing a part and would have to return to my house in two days to install the part. I don't know why it would take over 8 hours to figure out the part was missing. After he left, I called and complained and requested another installer come to my house. I also asked Direct Sat TV to not tell the installer I complained about him b/c I was afraid of him. Well, they must have told him I complained b/c he started calling my cell phone. When I called the satalite company to inform them he was calling me, I was told they were handling the problem and treated me as though I was crazy. I was told "we don't hire ax murderers!" I figured out this guy was crazy in less than five minutes. I don't know why they couldn't pick it up on a interview. (best behavior or not) And to top it all off, the next installer didn't show up when he said he would. I called and cancelled the service and was offered one of their installers from their office and not a third party installer. Why didn't they do that the first time after they sent that bad installer to my house and wasted a day of my life? Also, after fighting to cancel my service, I was told I have to go to the post office to return their equipment and they don't need the actual dish back. Now, I have a satalite dish attached to the front side of my house (showing from the road and I requested otherwise), and I'm going to have to crawl up on my roof and take it down myself. They are the ones who sent the incompetent insane installer to begin with. You would think, Direct Sat Tv would remove the dish themselves to compensate me for wasting a day of my life and being for being afraid in my own home. I strongly discourage anyone from using Direct Sat TV company. They are incompentent and obviously don't have their installers screened before sending them to your home. Atleast one good thing has come out of this, I no longer have to beg my husband for a security system :)
