COMPUTER ER

I was pleased with the cost and feel like the guys were very straight forward with me about what was realistic and what wasn't to expect out of the computer. I did not like that even though I was given an expected delivery date it wasn't ready, thankfully I had called before going in to pick it up. I was told I would receive a phone call when it was ready but when I didn't get a call on the expected to be ready date & called, I was advised they hadn't gotten to it yet. I wouldn't have minded a week's wait if I hadn't been promised a 3 days. After getting the computer home I found that a lot of my files that I had paid extra to have backed up weren't loaded back onto the computer so it had to be taken back to the shop for them to be put back on the CPU. I found that exceptionally annoying. Also the USB port issue wasn't addressed on the first go around. When I asked about it upon picking it up the 2nd time the response I got was that "they just won't work, use the ones on back". They had provided a convenient piece of electrical tape to cover the non-working ports, whew! I wanted to really, really like this shop since they are a local operation and I did find them adequate, about what I expected, I guess. I just wanted them to be the kind of place I was excited to recommend other people to and that they weren't.
