These guys are a scam. They were late to the appointment. Then they only showed up with 3 men instead of 6 or 7 which it takes to move a baby grand piano. They had no piano dolly or proper moving equipment, just a small dolly on rollers that was not adequate for a large piano. They dropped the piano once and let the top swing open wide breaking the hinges. There were major damages to the cabinet of the piano. Initially they said we still needed to pay the $400 moving price because they "got the piano from point a to point b"!! Then after we refused they said we didnt have to pay the moving fee and they would cover half of the repair bill. The total repair bill was $400 which we paid out of pocket. Since then they have put us off claiming they cant mail the $200 for their half of repairs and they cant meet us with it because they are too busy. Their website www.moversoftherocketcityofhvs.com shows them Better Business Bureau accredited. I called the Better Business Bureau and had them check on their status. They are not even listed with the Better Business Bureau and they are using the trademark on their website illegally. When you click the link to see the BBB profile you are directed back to the original page...it is not a proper link. We definitely learned to do more research up front.

I saw their ad when we ordered a Uhaul truck. We moved from Fort Worth, TX to Madison, AL, and it was just myself and my wife. We were going to need help off loading the 26' truck from our three bedroom house into storage. I got a call from the supervisor the day before our arrival and he got all the information they needed to show up when we arrived. They showed up on time and did almost all the moving themselves. They were two hard working boys and were very careful of all our possessions, and very courteous too. I will definitely use them again.
