 + -1 moreI am replacing my electric stove with a gas stove, so this necessitated the change from a 220 to a 110 plug. Wiring had to go under the flooring (I have crawl space). They attached the wires to the junction box, but left the junction box dangling underneath the flooring. Also, the electrical line was not stapled. Had told them to intall to code. Gas inspector was appalled with the electrical work and instructed me to get an electrical inspection as well. Relayed that info to Clark Electric. That was over two weeks ago.
Description of Work: Take out the 220 and intall a 110 receptical. Replace the breakers.

Description of Work: Wanted to write a review pertaining to this company even though we went with a different company. They were very professional and on time with our estimate. The company we ended up hiring was one that had done work for us before. Price wise, they were quite close, so that was not a factor. I would use this company in the future.

Description of Work: Met with technicians on Friday and we agreed that the service would be performed on Monday. Technicians were at my home when promised and immediately started wiring ang installing a set of lights on the outside of a workshop. I had specific requirements of where I wanted the switch to be located. Required finding appropriate power source, fishing walls, and accessing an attic space. This was accomplished in very short order. Then I wanted the technicians to reroute and 'clean up' a number of electrical lines that were haphazardly installed and resulted in a 'spegatti' of wires in the attic. Technicians rerouted and removed excess wiring in the attic. Now it is organized and not a hazard. Overall the job was completed in a timely manner and within the estimate quoted. I am very pleased and will use Clark Electric when the need arrises.

 + -1 moreBrad and his partner arrived on time and went immediately to work. They found several places in the crawlspace to splice in to for the added outlets. They pulled the wires, mounted the new boxes, and installed the outlets. A couple hours later they were finished. Brad gave me the bill and I wrote him a check. They packed up and left.

 + 1 moreEverything was completed quickly, neatly, and safely. Both workers worked nonstop for 2 days, arrived when they said, politely answered all questions.
Description of Work: Several ceiling fans installed. track light and tube florescent removed and recessed can lights installed. Numerous wall plugs updated. Removal of ancient wire and new replaced. New fire and carbon monoxide alarms installed.

 + 0 moreClark came the next day on time to give me an estimate. However, upon arrival the electrical/lighting issue I had was so easily resolved that they began working. One bank of lights merely needed the sensor adjusted away from oncoming traffic, with the other having an faulty photo cell. I never inquired about the price for the work until they had to purchase a part from the hardware store. I thought they would have given an estimate up front and I was so eager to get the problem corrected that I didn't ask until midway of the job. Thank goodness the price wasn't outrageous. Very professional and pleasant to work with. Would certainly recommend them and would use them for future work!!!
Description of Work: Called the company regarding a lighting/electrical issue with my landscape lights around the flower bed. One bank of lights came on at various times instead of the dusk to dawn timeframe. With the other bank of lights having a short. If I placed a bulb in one of the lamps the lights would go off and on whenever a car approached the house. However, my removing the bulbs from one lamp the other lamp came on at dusk and went off at dawn. Wanted all the lights to work appropriately and go on/off when they were supposed to. Clark said they would be out the next morning to give me an estimate!

 + -1 moreThis is the second time I have used Clark Electric, and both experiences were very positive. They arrived on time, did the job required in a thorough fashion but reasonably speedy fashion and for the estimated price. My only complaint is that they did not clean up after themselves. I do not expect an electrician to repair holes in the drywall, but I would expect them to pick up the old parts, leftover bits of wire and vacuum up the drywall dust. I would still use them again, however, as this is less important to me than having the job done right for a good price.
Description of Work: Install new grounded circuits and outlets; full wiring inspection.

Description of Work: Installed security light in the back. Ran power to my outside shed e/w 3 outlets. Buried the cable , ran the wire from the box in garage through the attic down the outside wall next to downspout to partially hide the pipe. Also converted 220v outlet to 110 for new gas stove.

 + 1 moreI had a punch list of several electrical items I needed completed, and they came and did the first 2 tasks with no problems. Then, when I needed the remaining items completed, they got busy on a project, so I called several times to see how they were doing and finally scheduled a date/time. My husband stayed home from work and they never showed up. I called and rescheduled, and they did not show up again. I tried calling and paging and no response. They never called me back to apologize and I didn't call them back. I won't use them again.
Description of Work: Install larger attic fans, rewire bonus room light/fan, master bedroom recessed lights, and outside flood light.

 + -1 moreI called them on 8/22 and they scheduled to come out on 8/24 at 12:30 PM. They did not show up. I called and was told they were running late, but would be there soon. They did not show up. On 8/27 I called to reschedule for 8/29, and I was told that they would call me back. They did not call me back. On 8/29 I called to see if they had scheduled me for 4:00; they said they would be there. They did not show up. On 8/30 I called to complain. They explained that the electrician had a vehicle problem. They rescheduled for 4:00 that day, but again did not show up. That is three scheduled appointments that they did not meet, and not once was I informed that they wouldn't be there.
