Installation was originally scheduled on a Friday but was rescheduled for a Saturday due to heavy rain. The technicians called in advance in the morning to let us know when they would arrive. Over all they did an outstanding job fitting the door and trim. Installation was precise and with a great attention to detail. I felt they were in no rush and wanted to get it right. Only one minor issue is that some debris was left for clean up - but again this was minor. I definitely would recommend the company.

They never could fix a leak that the sunroom had from the beginning. It still leaks 3 or four gallons in a hard rain. They sent someone out three or four times but they all told me that they didn't have any idea why it was leaking. I found that the largest leak was because they applied silicone caulk on one seam while the roofing flashing next to the building was wet - hence the caulk didn't seal. I had to fix that myself using Butyl rubber caulk like the one they used on the rest of the roof because they couldn't figure out where the leak was. Perhaps, they didn't want to take on the difficult task of removing the silicone caulk from the seam. I still have to keep a five-gallon pail on the floor to catch the water from a second leak that I have pinpointed to within several feet. Some days there are loud popping noises that occur every few seconds for hours at a time. In all fairness to Champion, I have never complained about the popping noise because I wanted to make one more attempt to repair these leaks myself before dealing with them about the noise. But being I am 71 years old with a pacemaker and a defibrillator, I haven't had the energy and strength for some time to climb back on the roof to make a last attempt to repair the leak (described above) - so months and years have past. The new door was installed so poorly that it sagged in a week such that door wouldn't close. Problem was that they didn't replace the short temporary shipping screws that held the door in the frame with the long ones needed to secure the door and left out the 2 x 4 needed to secure the door frame to the building. - I had to install the proper screws and beef up the frame myself, as I NO longer trusted their door crew to do a reasonable job. One end of the sunroom is sagging such that there are large cracks in that outside wall where it has settled. Besides settling, that wall appears to tipping over with the top part at least 1/4 inch from the vertical position. Most of the windows don't lock because of poor alignment. The air conditioner stopped working soon after they built the room. It doesn't look like the air conditioner is easily removed for repair. Even though I paid for an All Seasons Room based on total square-footage that included the soffits, they wanted to use standard un-insulated vinyl soffit material that lets the heat in the room escape into the attic. The installation supervisor didn't want to seal the soffits because he said the soffits where part of the original house even though Bob in their office charged me for that square footage. I had to refuse to finish paying for the room to force them to insulate and seal the soffits. They wouldn't (couldn't?) tell me where to place the electrical conduit in the slab so that it would clear the air conditioner, so I had to guess where to put the conduit. My guess just barely worked as it ended up clearing the air conditioner by about one sixteenth of an inch. We think they gave us the wrong dimension for where the edge of the inside wall would be. I had to pay the plumber $500 to jackhammer and make repairs to the concrete slab to move the shower drain to allow the shower stall to fit because the inside edge of the wall was about 6 inches closer than we had expected. In hindsight, I should have paid to have the toilet and wash basin moved too as we lost handicap access as the space between the front of the toilet and the wall is really too small. Shortly after I ordered the room, I added about five feet to its width. Rather than add a regular window with the usual window mullins, they added a custom cut glass pane and used a non-standard window mullin between the closest regular window and the custom glass pane. Besides the appearance, the non-standard mullin doesn't have the material or the strength to allow drapes in those two custom windows. I even went to the office but NO one there could tell me how I could safely and reliably attach some type of window shade on the custom window mullins. Finally, most of the installation crew complained that the people in the office made as much money on my room as the people that built it. Given the hard feelings between various employees, you can imagine the impact that had on my room. Perhaps they have improved their processes since my room was built, but I still feel that I taken advantage of by the cost and the various incidents of poor workmanship.

Purchased Big Deal for $200.00. Suppose to get $2,000.00 toward purchase of a sun room. Waited three weeks to get an appointment. Then 2 people came to my house to perform an estimate. They told me that I would receive their official estimate via E-mail. I've waited over a month. I have e-mailed and telephoned with negative results.

It took a little longer than expected. Top quality job. Very professional and courteous workers.

They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them year round.

This job had two parts: 1. Cut opening into existing brick and install one window--$1600 2. Replace five old windows with new windows--$3400 We signed the contract on May 1, and in order to save some money we picked out one of the 'left-over' windows they had on-site to install in the place where existing brick had been. There was a 'sale' going on, which made things a bit less expensive. Other than a problem whereby we were never called about a delay (the manager insisted he had called and spoken to us--maybe he got us mixed up with someone else he called, but it sure wasn't us he talked to), everything went well. The installers (both sets--one for the 'normal' windows, one for the brick cut-out) were very professional, did a very good job, and cleaned up afterward. Champion also gives out a complementary year's worth of window-cleaning solution. All-in-all, we were pleased. Champion is a bit 'pricey'--and for windows that look out on shady areas or are on the north side I might go with a less expensive company--but Champion's windows do block the heat and keep our rooms cooler than they would otherwise be, so likely we're saving money in the long run.

From the start it has gone very well. I will be glad to let you know how the end goes, just email me to remind me. They called me to set up the install date when the windows were ready. On that day, they came to my house on time and completed the install in one day. They did a neat, clean job. They were polite and respectful through out the process. I am very happy to receive a good qualify product and the workmanship was outstanding.

They did a fabulous job. Wouldn't even allow me to pay until the job was finished. The foreman was very picky and made the installers redo the two screen doors as they were installed backwards. It really wasn't noticeable but he was not satisfied. They also will come back and install torn screen at no cost. I could have paid less, but the quality and maintenance free material would not have been used.

Great company! The did an awesome job installing the windows. The two best things about the company is the lifetime warranty and the electricity savings after they were installed ($50 a month!).

The service man for the company came out but the service could not be done due to the type of window I have, which my house is only 3 years old and they could not replace with the same window.The service man came out to my house and looked at the window that I needed to be fixed. He was very nice and explained everything about what they do. The service they could not do cause the window was not the same windows that they fix in homes. The the down payment of $100.00 dollars was not refundable and they could not do any work. You would think that any amount could be refundable if they could not do the job. Thanks

We were more than happy with the transformation of our old screened porch into a beautiful sun room! Great care was taken by the engineer to assess our project and to bring it to the best of all solutions for us! Jerry Mashburn and his team were the finest workmen and most efficient folks we have ever been associated with and I would highly recommend them for any project. Jerry took great care to check with me on details I would not even have thought of! They were punctual and did clean-up every day. When the entire project was finished, Jerry gave me pointers on how the windows worked and assured me if there were any issues, they would take care of them. I cannot foresee any issues whatsoever as he and his team were great, with attention to the least of details!

We selected Champion in March of '12 and were told it would be a month before our door and windows would come in. The installer/engineer came out to take the final measurements within two weeks and told us that our non operating windows next to the doors were not windows at all but full glass doors modified and there were some special "challenges" to replacing them. The owner/manager came out to see the situation and told us that when the door and windows come in Champion would build a mock up of how it would look and we could come in and give final approval. After that we did not hear from Champion unless we called them for the next 4 months. When we would call we were always told that the door and windows were being built at the factory and should be on the next shipment. In late August we were called and told the door and windows were in and they wanted to set up a time to install. No mention of the mock up. The installer arrived on the scheduled day on time. The trailer holding the door and windows was so loaded with material and the doors and windows so wrapped up that I could not see the door until they had already removed my old door and upon removal of the new door from the trailer it was painfully obvious that it was the wrong door. We had no choice but to let them install the wrong door which they did. Champion agreed to lower the price of the door or wait until they could track down the correct door or build it at the factory. I agreed to the wrong door since it looked exactly like the old door. The door, windows and transoms were installed and all the trim work completed in 4 days. Inside the transoms the grids were not like the ones we chose from the catalog. We finally signed the final papers and Champion agreed to lower the price (again) to an agreed amount just to close out the contract. I know Champion is a professional company but they had some "challenges" in fulfilling this obligation. I know I would use them again for windows but if a door every needs replacing again I may have to give great consideration to using them again. I rate the crew that installed the door and windows as excellent craftsmen.

They put the windows in, she asked that they saved the older windows, they took the screens out of the old windows, she immediately called and she was told that had already taken the screens and destroyed them. She asked to talk to the owner of the business, he came and told her he took out windows that had screens regularly and he promised that she would have her screens in about two weeks, it's been over two months and they have their money and she has yet to see her screens yet. She called in and was directed to speak to the owner, he wasn't available and she still hasn't received her screens back. She's very upset that they can't at least call and talk about it and they have already been paid, she's had to "chase" them down and argue with them and nothing has been done, she has had very uncomplimentary service from this provider. The man that came out and did the measure was excellent, The guys that came to put the windows a few complaints with them, the boss and everyone else, a lot of complaints with him.

. Team that install my windows went above exception in the work. Clean up was very good, they were very professional. Loved dealing with this company from the start with the sales. To the end. When I do the rest of the windows will call again. There was no pressure to buy. It was very friendly from start to finish.

It went fine. The workmen were prompt and did their job in an efficient, mannerly manner. As far as I know, everything went very well with good communication and no problems at all.

They took special pains to get this right. We're so happy with it. I would highly recommend them. The construction expert took every detail to heart for us. They really went above and beyond.

The initial discussions took place at the Champion facility on Wall Trianna. I found them to be very courteous, attentive and informative. We made an appointment for a representative to come to our house for reveiw and a detailed cost estimate. We initially expected to replace the windows in 2 phases but after the presentation and partly because of 12 months interest free financing, we agreed to replace all windows at one time. Jeff Corker came later on our schedule for final measurments and ordering of materials. When the materials arrived, Champion scheduled installation at our convenience. The entire installation took two days and was only minimally inconvenient for us. Everyone involved in the process from start to finish was very prompt courteous and professional. We were completely satisfied. I only scored a B rather than A on cost because I'm sure I could have gotten similar windows at a lower price elsewhere, but I truly believe we got the best overall value available considering the quality, professionalism, and convenience provided by Champion.

Eic and Frank were very professoinal and courteous. They were very impressive. We were pleased with the project and the workmanship and how they were punctual and cleaned up after themselves. Our sales rep followed to ensure we were satisifed.

It turned out real good. They are scheduled to put in more windows in the September time frame depending on the manufacturing of the windows. They are very timely and paid close attention to detail. They clean up after themselves as well.

I think they do good work and I would refer them to others. But their prices are a bit high.

Champion of Huntsville's quote was on the high side. I inquired about them because of Angie's List. They were very nice and I would recommend them to come out and give an estimate.

We chose them for the quality of the windows and work. We liked their professionalism and the quality of their work. They did what they said they were going to do, they were on time and they cleaned up after themselves. I think their price is pretty standard. We have them on a contract to do 13 more in two months.

Overall – a good experience. I would likely use this contractor again. They provided a level of service that I couldn’t receive from other companies and big chain stores such as Lowe’s or Home Depot. Just be prepared to pay for that level of service. Price - $3400 for a storm door is probably 5-8 times the price of what I would pay at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Even with 3 hours of installation, we’re talking expensive. Judging from the other reports on Angie’s List, price seems to be judged consistently higher average. And they KNOW they are over-priced. But in my case, you get what you pay for, and I had two other installers decline doing this install. Only Champion would take it on. Quality – Very good. The door they recommended ProVia Door (www.proviadoor.com) is excellent quality and installed neatly. I know this was a difficult install, but their team did a good job of installation. Responsiveness – Once I committed, I had a little trouble getting them out to my house to do the measuring. It took over a week. The door took 6 weeks for fabrication and delivery; once the door was available, it took another week to set up an installation appointment. Punctuality – Installation team arrived on time (within 3 minutes of appointment time). Professionalism – Sales team, measuring team, and install team were all very professional and courteous. It was a positive contracting experience. Champion did well.
