Description of Work: A sales rep from C&K Rooking came to our house. I explained to the sales rep there was a roof leak and showed where the leak was. He told me what they would do to fix the leak. The sales rep gave my wife the phone number of the field superintendent to call if we had not heard from him by a certain date. When we did not hear from the field superintendent, she called to set up an appointment. He was very rude and wanted to know how she got his number. We told the sales rep and the field superintendent that we wanted to know when they would be there to do the work so I could be there when the work was done, but they did not. They came out one day and did what they said they would do to fix the leak, but not only were we not aware that they had come, the work did not fix the leak. I called them back to complain about them not letting us know when they were coming and to let them know the leak was not fixed and they wanted 350.00 more to fix the same leak I had just paid 700.00 to fix. I called Malone roofing, they took out some of what C&K had done and fixed the leak.

+ -1 moreNever returned to make minor fixes to flashing. Never dropped of spare bundle of shingles as promised. Did repair gutter damaged during work. Did return to fix ridge vent 2 years later but never dropped off spare bundle of shingles as promised again. Called 7 times trying to get a bundle dropped off and gave up and bought a bundle myself at home depot. I know sections are missing felt and question how many more are missing felt I don't know about.
Description of Work: Remove old roof, replace with new felt and 30 yr shingles. Add ridge vent.

+ -1 moreThe roof looks great. They did a good job. Blake was responsive and very easy to work with. It took them 3 days as they had predicted. They arrived on time and the crew was very polite. They did a pretty good job cleaning up.
Description of Work: C and K put a new roof on my house. It is a difficult roof with lots of different angle and some of it is very high off the ground.

+ -1 moreIt took a little longer than expected. The crew did not speak English, but they worked extremely hard to get the work done. The foreman did speak English. They finished the job within three days.
Description of Work: They tore off the old roof and replaced. They installed a ridge vent and replaced rotted roof planks.

+ -1 moreI was promised they used their own employees, not contracted Mexican workers. That was not true. I ordered and was paying for 25-year shingles, but they tried to use 20-year, then would not give me the warranty information. They did not come when they said they would, installed my roof on the house across the street, damaged my decking and gutters, installed shingles incorrectly so there was water damage which it took months of calls, letters and finally threats to get partially corrected. The Mexican workers showed up at my door one evening saying they had not been paid and the owner refused to talk with them. Owner admitted to me he had not and would not pay them and for me to call the police if they came on my property again. The entire experience was horrible, but they are advertising extensively on radio and television now. They present themselves well but cannot be trusted.
