Brad Rogers Paint Contractors

First time job was done very well and all painters were very professional. We selected a color from a little sampler which you couldn't tell what color it really was and when the job was finished the room looked pink, which wasn't going to work. My wife was very unhappy about the way the color turned out so the owner was asked to repaint it and we would pay him and purchase our own paint. He wasn't very happy but agreed to for a set amount. The second crew had only one of the original painters with them and they did a much worse job by not covering the floor and so we had to clean up paint drippings, they left wide paint brush strokes next to trim on the walls and one of the workers used the bathroom and left it in a mess. When we confronted the owner with our findings he became belligerent and said we didn't know what we were talking about and then stormed out the door. We tried to find out what he was going to do to correct the problem and he would never answer our phone calls. Later we went to the BBB he said he would talk with us about the problem but by that time we had our fair share of the nonsense so we have never settled the issue and to this date we refuse to deal with the owner again.

Brad was great to work with. Very friendly and confident in his work. The recent cold and wet weather caused a few delays and issues, but when the weather got nicer, they were back on the job and fixed the few minor issues caused by the weather. The limestone foundation was had a lot of cracks and crevices, but was covered very well. Only found a few spots that were quickly fixed where the shadows and cracks hid whether it was painted thoroughly or not. The job site was kept straightened and the crew was courteous and professional. I'm sure I'll have paint work in the future and I know who I will be calling. Highly recommend.

That was it. Brad Rogers came, did a detailed evaluation of the whole house painting job, made several GREAT suggestions and promised to have me an estimate on the work in a few days. I gave him my email address and he said he would send me the estimate of work. Then nothing. I waited. I never heard from him. I finally had to look elsewhere. Even though I needed the entire house painted (two stories with a front, side and back porch) with some carpentry repair, he gave me the impression during the evaluation that my job was too small, from some of his comments ("we have done a lot bigger jobs than this" or "I can work you in"). He may have been joking, but since he didn't get back to me on an estimate, I may have been correct in my feelings.

Contractor was punctual and the crew was very professional and did an outstanding job which was completed on time. The only problem was that the color which was chosen from a very small sample turned out to be completely wrong. My wife was totally upset and I asked the contractor if he would repaint only the walls for the cost of labor only and I provided the paint he agreed but didn't seem to be very happy about the concept. When the second crew showed up they were different from the first crew except for one laborer, they didn't seem to be as considerate about the surroundings as the first crew and seemed to be in a hurry to complete the work and leave. I have poor eyesight due to multiple eye operations and thought the work was fine. My wife saw the completed work and was amazed at how many flaws there was she stated there was a couple from the first job but she still overlooked them. I contacted the contractor and he was in complete disagreement it took a couple of weeks but I finally got him to come over and let us show him the mistakes. He still denied any mistakes on his painters part and was agitated to the point of being mean but said he would do whatever he could to make us happy. As of this date he will not answer my calls or says he is busy and to call him back later. To me this is a tactic to just keep putting me off with no plans on correcting anything. I don't believe I would recommend him to anyone and because of this he has loss a chance of getting additional jobs I had lined up for him.

Mr. Rogers and all of his crew were very professional, prompt and hard working from beginning to end. They went well above & beyond what was expected, working late into the night and on the weekend in order to finish the job before our scheduled move date of November 15th. Mr. Rogers and Wade, his foreman, made sure that all work was done properly. Many of the rooms required three coats of paint. They did a superb job of cleaning up after the job was done, including vacuuming carpets and cleaning all of the hardwood floors with Murphy's Oil Soap. This made our move-in prep much easier than it might otherwise have been. If you want the job done right, Brad Rogers Paint Contractors is the company to call.

The job went great. We have an entrance to the bedroom from a back porch so the painters did not have to go through any other part of the house. They did not leave any thrash laying around and were very neat. I would highly recommend them to anyone else. We had another contractor bid the job and the prices were comparable. We chose Brad because he looked more professional.

They showed up on time and moved furniture out of their way and covered all exposed carpet and furniture. They did a great job patching and painting the walls and in a very timely manner. They did an excellent job on the trim around the doors, windows and baseboards in the bedroom and the bathroom. The room looks great now.

Brad Rogers and his painting crew were very professional, courteous and respectful of our home and its contents. We can't say enough about how well the job was done. Wade, Brad's foreman, is the consummate perfectionist. He monitored each and every detail of the job to make sure it was done to his satisfaction. We initially hired Brad to paint the interior of our home, but after seeing what a great job his crew had done, we added painting of our garage walls and floor. This was not an easy job for them. The paint job the previous owners had put on the walls was awful. Paint splotches on the white crown molding, baseboards and interior doors. Also inconsistent coverage of the wall paint. Brad's crew worked very hard to cover all these problems and now the home looks like new. In fact several people have asked if this was a new home based on how well the painting was done. The home is actually 7 years old. We bought it in July and stayed in our apartment until the painting and other remodel projects were done. We highly recommend Brad Rogers to anyone needing painting services.

The personnel working the project were the most professional, courteous, and efficient we have ever used. The entire job took about 3 days. They cleaned up after them selves as they completed portions of the work and the supervisors inspected our property every evening before they quit. Additionally, the took down, painted the 20-plus storm windows a matching color, and reinstalled each storm window. All in all, they did an outstanding job and I would recommend them for any outside painting job.

We setup a time for him to stop by and look at our house and put together an estimate. He was on time and did a thorough job inspecting the house. We receive a verbal quote and he sent a detailed estimate via e-mail the next day. He was professional and we were satisfied with him. We decided to go with another company we found on Angie's List because of price.

Brad and his crew did a SPECTACULAR job. The most impressive part was the prep. Anyone can paint a wall. These guys sanded everything. They remudded as needed -- some walls needed to be nearly redone to get them to a quality surface for eggshell. Eggshell (slight gloss) shows every imperfection. But when Brad's crew was done, it was like glass. The trim work was perfect, including a high gloss repaint of the kitchen island which was previously stained. They knew just what to do to make this paint-over work and it looks fantastic. Finally, they managed to get all 11 colors right -- and this was all done while we were still living over 1000 miles away. I gave Brad a key and he took care of the rest. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We were more than pleased with the work of this company. When they completed the work, my husband and I walked the rooms to check the quality of his work and were shocked at how perfect everything looked. We expected quality but their work was above and beyond our expectations. The trim lines were crisp and there were no paint drops or sprayover on anything in the house. Everything looks brand new and perfect! We had a coupon from Angie's List for 10% off with this contractor, but we were so pleased with their work that we chose to pay the quoted price and not use the coupon. His price was already very competitive and we felt that we got more than our money's worth. Brad is very thorough, professional, punctual, and his work is exceptional. We've already recommended him to friends and family. When he came to give us a quote, he gave us a very thorough, professional opinion and wished us good luck whether we chose him or not. We are so glad we went with him!! We highly recommend Brad and we will absolutely use him for our painting needs in the future.

Advance window screen removal crew was unprofessional and incompetent. After alerting foreman to this, problems were corrected and everything went great once the primary repair/paint crew arrived. Bottom line: excellent job.

Very easy to work with and knew / shared extensive knowledge during bid, at the job, and after finished (i.e. need to wait at least 30 days before washing newly painted bathroom). Quality work, repaired and went beyond in fixing any mistakes (painted extra wall when some paint from the ceiling got on an unpainted wall). Cleaned up well and left us all the extra paint. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that at times when he set up a phone or visit appointment, it was delayed due to being so busy on other jobs. However, he never left me hanging too long and always called the same day to report any delay's. Due to not being in any rush for this job, it was not a big deal to me.

I called Mr. Rogers to get an estimate. He came out promptly. This was my mother's house. We told him what we needed/wanted done. He gave us a very reasonable estimate for a considerable amount of work. We hadn't planned on getting the driveway washed, but his price was less than we expected so we asked that they do that too. The next week, he and his crew came out and completed the work in about three days. They did an excellent job and were very professional. When the inside of my house needs painted, they are the contractors I will call.

I would highly recommend Mr. Brad Rogers to anyone. He came the same day I called for an estimate, and the work was completed the same week. I intend to utilize his services again in the near future. I got everything I paid for and then some.

He was honest, punctual and came out when he said he would. He pointed out different things that we can do and also gave us a lot of information about what he would do as a painter to make sure the outside of the house stayed a good paint job for as long as possible.

Overall very happy with the work. Probably because we began the work in the dead of winter (January), he was able to begin as soon as we hired him. Brad usually gets his workers started in the mornings and then leaves to monitor or bid other jobs, but we were quite pleased and comfortable with Wade, who has been with him for many, many years, and his helper, Jesse. They were courteous and very careful with our belongings. Every afternoon before they left, they put furniture back in place, even when we told them it wasn't necessary. This is important to Brad and is something he stresses. In the kitchen and bathrooms, we had wallpaper. After examining it, the decision was made to paint over it, rather than butcher the walls trying to remove it. They sealed and sanded all seams, then primed with Kilz before painting. Honestly, if you didn't know there was wallpaper under the paint, you'd never notice. Excellent job. The cabinet painting was an adventure. My bad, but we didn't decide to paint them until after the walls in those rooms were already painted. They had to take the doors offsite to paint them because they were being sprayed and had to be laid out to dry. This happened during a very wet February, and trying to dry them at our house would have been impossible. That was the only time things were not cleaned up at the end of the day, and that was only because they very carefully closed off the rooms they were working in with plastic and tape. Great job painting the exterior. And we were more than happy with the job they did on our fence. We had thought we'd have to replace or paint it, but once they pressure washed it and then stained and sealed it, it looks like new. Several neighbors have talked to him about doing the same to theirs.

I contacted Brad coming by to provide us with a cost estimate on some work. He aske me for our address and stated that he would be in the area the next day and would stop by for a look and also set up an appointment to talk to myself or my husband a couple of days later. I assumed he stopped by for the look and the day we were to meet it was raining so I called about changing the time. He stated that he had not gotten by yet and that he would try the next week when it was not raining. I gave him until the next Wednesday and never heard from him so I called to see about getting a verbal estimate over the phone. He asked me what our address was and stated (again) that he had to be in our area and would stop by to take a look and asked for specific location of work needing to be done. I never heard from him and it has been several weeks.

He did as well as could be expected

Brad Rogers and his crew did an outstanding job. Every person of the paint team was professional, punctual, courteous, and efficient. Job took about 6 days because of the unusual cold and rain that occurred at the end of March. They arrived about 7AM and worked through to 5:30 PM every day. The work area was picked up, cleaned up and tolls stored every day before they stopped work. I don't think I've ever seen a team that worked as hard, as efficiently and as quickly as they worked. I've requested that Brad give us an estimate to paint the exterior of our pool house and garage.

Brad had a very professional crew. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves and were extremely friendly and polite. They tried to put everything back as they found it, including drapes and blinds. The people he had patching the drywall, ceilings and trim in preparation for the paint did an outstanding job. We just could not believe the transformation. Considering the extensive amount of trim in this house, I believe the price was very fair for the amount of labor that went into it. I believe they underestimated how long the prep work would take for the job, which put them a little behind their estimated completion date; however, he did not charge me extra for the time. I would hire this crew again, with no hesitation.

His crew arrived at 7 a.m. and went to work immediately. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward and the workmanship was excellent. Brad estimated the job would take 2 days and he was spot on. They finished about 3 p.m. the second day.

Brad and his crew came on time, powerwashed house, painted exterior and cleaned up afterward. His assistant, Jesse, was my main contact point. This was a very good experience.
