The job was done as agreed and on time. The entire job was supervised by the owner and was finished with excellent results. The quoted price was reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

It went great. They were able to cut down the tree without damaging surrounding plants.

The company was very responsive. They came out to give an estimate quickly and were able to complete the work the next week. The work was done well and quickly. Theirs was the lowest estimate for the work and I felt that they did a professional job.

Great. Mr. Berryman and his crew were efficient and friendly. Completed the work quickly and cleaned up nicely. I would advise letting him know if you are going to be leaving work to meet him for the estimate and/or work. He ran late for our estimate due to another job, but he let me know as soon as he could and I was home all afternoon, so it was not a problem for me. The 2 times I called his cell (it's on his website but not on Angie's List) he was on another job, but he returned my calls promptly.

Mike called me back on the day that I originally called him and met me later that afternoon to provide an estimate. I already had one estimate from a local service that was featured in one of the Big Deals of $400 work for $199. I found that whole expereince to be confusing and like on other reviewer said "what is $400 worth of service" how is that defined. The orignal estimate was for $500 worth of work (what I need done) for $300. He said that was my $200 savings. I wanted another estimate and I tried to message another of the BIG DEAL providers and never got a response. I also contacted another service and they never showed up or called when they said they would. Mike's estimate of $300 was for more work than the BIG DEAL guy. Buyer beware on these type of special deals when it is not clearly defined or understood what something is worth or cost.

Mr. Berryman quoted us $350.00 for the job. I had another quote given a couple of days later by a and quot;prepaid special dealand quot; which was double the and quot;prepaidand quot; cost of service and 4 times the and quot;prepaidand quot; amount of the service.The and quot;special dealand quot; quote was 2.30% higher than Berrryman's due to and quot;safety considerationsand quot;. Mr. Berryman and crew showed up on time with proper equipment, immediately started to work and in a matter of minutes had removed the tree in sections with the fall line away from the out building, did no damage to the healthy tree, loaded the tree waste onto a motorized carrier, carried to the road (thereby doing no yard damage from heavy trucks), loaded waste onto a truck and departed with a handshake and my thanks. This is the second time I have used Berryman's Tree Service, the first time to remove six trees after the 4/27/2011 tornadoes. At that time, his price was 1/3 that of quotes from other tree services. I most assuredly reccommend Berryman Tree Service and will use his services in the future if needed.

Mr Berryman gave me what I thought was a very fair estimate on some trees that I wanted removed from my property. I also asked him for an opinion on my other trees, including a couple I thought might be in line for removal. He gave me an assessment of the health of those trees, and confirmed that two of them were unhealthy and would need to be removed. He gave me an estimate on those as well, but also mentioned that, being close to the street, Huntsville Utilities might take them down for free. I checked with the utility company, and he was right. I was impressed that he gave me an honest assessment, even though it cost him some business. He and his crew showed up on time, were courteous, hard-working, and did very professional work. One of the trees he took down was near the property line, and his crew did a very conscientious job cleaning up the resulting debris from my neighbors' property. I would certainly hire Berryman's Tree Service again and I would trust them to do a good job.

Mr. Berryman and his crew arrived on time and did a superb job. They worked fast, were very knowledgeable, did the job in short order and cleaned up well afterwards. I was VERY pleased . His price was extremely fair. I will use Mr. Berryman again when I need tree service work.

This was the second time I have used Mr. Berryman for tree removal. Best price of four estimates. Great communication. The crew arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. The price was one third of the estimate given by the tree company I had been using for the prior ten years. I will call on Berryman in the future.

Very helpful in breaking down prices for different levels of service, such as cut down only vs cut and chop into larger lengths for moving on our own or fireplace lengths.

Great price! Very easy to work with and very responsive to what we wanted done, especially as it concerned the woodchips (we wanted them blown into our shaded area we are trying to mulch/restore).

Very good experience. Mike Berryman and his crew were prompt, courteous, and efficient. Felling a large tree in a tight space, they rigged the tree properly and lowered it slowly, avoiding all damage to the nearby structures. They made sure I was satisfied before they left.

Returned my call 2 days after my voice mail message. Sent an estimator to view job in late afternoon to meet my work schedule. With the upcoming holiday and amount of work resulting county wide from the tornadoes, made an appointment for following week. The estimate was 60 % lower than the one company that responded to my phone calls (I called 7 companies, one scheduled appointment, subsequently cancelled and never called back as promised. Four others did not bother to return my call, the sixth gave an estimate 60 % higher than Berryman's estimate). The crew arrived on time with proper equipment to do the job and a tree climber with 23 years experience. The crew (5 people) were exceptionally courteous, worked consistently, ground down a stump partially blocking entrance to my barn , cut one oak tree into firewood and stacked it to season (neither of which was on the estimate nor was I charged for the extra service). I would highly recommend this company. I could not be more pleased with their service.

I called this company for an estimate. I called on Monday and left a message. They called back that evening and said they would arrive Wednesday at 5:00pm to give us an estimate. They did not arrive by 5:00pm as expected so at 5:30pm I called and was told by the gentleman that it was raining and he would come the next day (Thursday) at 6:00pm. Well it is now 7:12pm on Thursday and no one has called or come to the house. Needless to say I will not be using this company. They should have called as a courtesy to say they would not be coming, perhaps they have more business than they can handle. Unfortunately they will not be handling my tree trimming needs.

Whole experience went very smoothly and quickly. We are happy with the end result and would use this service again.

We got three estimates. $2000, $1770, and $1500. We chose the $1500 from Berryman based on price and Angie's List recommendations. On the first day after we made a decision, they were in the yard cutting the trees. For a very modest price ($200), they removed the shrubbery as well.

The overall job went very well. I was truly impressed. I used the other tree service before and it seems this company was cheaper and everything was included in the price such as grinding up the entire tree and I didn't have to move anything to the side of the road.

During a storm we had several large tree limbs fall into our neighbors yard. We called Berryman and they were able to come out the same day and remove the tree limbs. They were prompt and professional. We plan to call them again for tree removal.
