Description of Work: Came out and assessed the performance and inspected the in-ground irrigation system for my primary residence. | |This home was recently purchased and already had an in-ground sprinkler system installed, but one which had not been used anytime recently. They came out and reviewed the system and ran some performance checks. One zone was not working and they helped get it operational. No actual servicing of the hardware was done, more overall information on how to set some of my sprinkler heads and ensure that the system was working. | |A few days before the crew came out, the head office called to inform me there had been some issues with how others that bought the Big Deal thought it included some maintenance. While I was not expecting any maintenance for the price of the offer, it was good that they were checking in with the customer to make sure that they knew what to expect before the crew arrived.

Description of Work: All I got was an estimate I had to pay for. Could have got a free estimate from others. There was no "tune up" as promised.

Description of Work: Adjusted sprinkler heads and helped us modify our program. Technician was thorough, but got through the entire system evaluation quickly.

Description of Work: I purchased a coupon for a sprinkler system tuneup. I told them that I had one zone that the water would not turn off. They said they would repair the problem and apply the coupon to the total repair cost. The fellow that came out seemed very inexperienced and spent a lot of time in the truck talking on the phone; I assume talking to the office. He did some minor tweaking to a couple of sprinkler heads, but said he could not locate the valve that controlled the problem zone and that it would cost $170 to locate the valve plus labor and material to fix the problem, or approximately $250-$300. I called another company and they sent a man out who located the valve, installed a new one and checked out the control box for $100.
