Artistic Marble was the contractor for master bath tub installation in a new home; the builder was Stoneridge Homes. During the first use of the tub after move-in, my wife noticed a crack in the front wall of the tub (on the end where the faucet is located). Two independent tub repair contractors evaluated the defect and their opinion was, given its nature and location, the damage occurred around or prior to install. Additionally, as this tub is handcrafted marble, it cannot be effectively repaired, but must be replaced. The owner of Artistic Marble himself came out and evaluated the damage, and said (this is a direct quote): “We’ll do you right.” Uh-huh. Our home has had a literal litany of problems since we’ve moved in, but Artistic Marble is the ONLY subcontractor who has refused to warranty their work. We’re currently exploring what, if any, legal options are available to us. If you do decide to use this company, don’t expect them to repair anything or “do you right” if they screw up your installation.
