Repaired, labor intensive repair.

They did good work, but they just took their time on getting ready and getting it fixed. It was less than $1,000, I’m pretty sure, but I don’t remember the exact amount.

The project was finished on time, on budget (little pricey but not bad), the Jasper transmission came with warranty and all proper information, answered any question, easy to deal with all the way around. This was a year ago and never had any problems. Picked Anderson to do the work because I wanted it done right without worrie. With a credible long lasting local-reputation I had no hesitation to use Anderson. Yes I could of found it cheaper somewhere else or even use a" Bubba". I wanted to know for sure I was getting the best work possible.

Earlier this year, Anderson replaced both wheel bearings on our 2008 van. The work was done quickly, professionally, and at a good price ($300 cheaper than the other estimate we'd received). Over the last week, we were hearing strange noise from the left front -- my husband took it in and an Anderson employee took it for a test drive. While he waited, the wheel bearing was wheel bearing was replaced at no charge (it WOULD have been about $400) So nice to see a company that stands behind its work -- no questions, no complaints, no arguments, no delays.

Excellent quality work, reliable & punctual, decent prices, they gave us rides to the house - good, honest people.

I had our 10 year old vehicle (with 100K miles) towed in on a Monday when we were concerned about a problem with the motor following a routine tune-up (done at home by my husband, who has over 30 years experience of doing routine maintenance on our vehicles- so he is not some yahoo mechanic wannabe). After more than 48 hours (Wed afternoon), we were given a diagnosis of bent valve, and told that we needed the motor replaced. I decided to have vehicle towed to a different service shop the next morning (the one AAA had recommended to us initially, but which we chose Anderson instead due to Angies List rating), and WITHIN 3 HOURS the other shop ran a compression test on the valve that Anderson said was bent and IT PASSED EASILY. The service manager called me and his exact words were "Ma'am, we cannot find anything wrong with your motor." Cost? $85 to run the compression test, versus the roughly $3100 I was quoted to replace the motor. I have since put nearly 5000 miles on the vehicle (driven to Birmngham and Decatur and back a few times, all over Oak Mtn State Park, etc and still driving it on a daily basis) and it is running just fine. Unbelievable...what can I say...I have waited to write this review just to see if perhaps Anderson was correct and the car was going to quit at any moment....hasnt happened. I cannot figure out why Anderson would not have run a compression test before coming up with the diagnosis. So bottom line, get a second opinion if the price seems outrageous...I did and I still have $3000 in my pocket to use for when the car really needs a repair.

I think that everything was done in proper fashion. The work was done in a timely manner, and I was duly notified when the car was ready. The shop and waiting room were clean and neat. The service was friendly and professional. I would definitely return to the firm.

I took my car at 8:00 AM. The service was completed about 10:00, while I waited.

Great people, I used to do all my own work, but no time for that anymore. It was hard learning to take a car to a shop, instead of doing it myself, but these guys made it easy. They're honest, competent, and quick. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Absolutely great service. The shop could have easily up-sold me on service and what was wrong. They were honest and did an outstanding job. I would DEFINITELY recommend and will use in the future!!!!!!!

After I explained the issues I was having with my car, they took the time to evaluate and provided me with an estimate before performing any work. They were honest and did not try to "sell" me any additional services that were not necessary. They performed the work and my car seems to be running much better.

Found Anderson Motors based on recommendation by friends and was very pleased. DJ was very prompt and called me with a "walk out the door" price within 20 minutes of my returning home after leaving the car. He explained he would have to get the part from the dealer and if they had it in stock, the car would be ready same day. Otherwise, it would be the next day. He called at about 2:00 to say it was finished, I paid, and was on my way. Their shop was clean and organized looking. The waiting room area was also very clean and pleasant. The staff I spoke with, both on the phone and in person, were very professional and polite. As I have two older cars, I'm happy I've found "our mechanic".

Honest, competent, and they don't try to upsell extra services. Price is the going rate. Same story on many other visits with a number of other vehicles.
