AVOID this company! They are overpriced and unethical. * * * *During the hottest day of the month, my heat pump failed. I contacted Aire Serv of Huntsville, because I was pleased with the maintenance technicians who had worked at my small townhouse in the past. * * * *Using arguments that favored replacement rather than repair, Aire Serv personnel promoted potential $8,000.00 rebates that I could receive if I purchased a system meeting the requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act, passed by Congress a month before. After opting for the installation of a new system, I learned that the rebates touted by Aire Serv applied only to systems installed after January 1, 2023. So, I'm not sure why Aire Serv personnel brought up the rebates, given that they didn't apply to my purchase. Closing the deal quickly is what I suspect was Aire Serv's goal, taking advantage of my situation. * * * *Now, I'm stuck with what amounts to a monthly luxury car payment for two years, without the benefit of the substantial rebates promoted by Aire Serv. Had I known that the cost of the ridiculously high-priced heat pump system would not be offset by any new rebates or tax credits, I certainly would have thought twice about the purchase. Aire Serv never accepted any responsibility for their misinformation and unethical sales tactics, and refused my request for a 10%, fair and reasonable, refund. A lesson learned the hard way about Aire Serv of Huntsville.* * * * *UPDATE: It's reassuring to learn that the local branch manager (Charlotte) and sales manager (Robert) are gone, both of whom contributed to my previous, negative experience. They certainly were not customer-oriented, and I believe their departures led to my very pleasant interaction with the company's technician (Dylan) during the past several days. He honored my extended warranty without question, and he professionally handled the ordering, retrieving, and installation of a necessary replacement part.

Frank of Aire Serv was very professional, courteous, and punctual. His vehicle was super clean. He was intent on providing only the work we really needed. I definitely will have him return for future work.

My technician was Bill Martinson and he was outstanding. My Air Conditioner died over Labor Day weekend and he came right out to fix it. He learned it was a cracked coil and had to order the part. He was able to get the unit to work just enough to cool off the house for a bit. Which I truly appreciated. He did a great job but then he did something extra -- he helped me get the Builder's Warranty Company to help pay for the repairs. The young lady in the office, Kara Conn and Bill went way above and beyond their jobs to help me. And I appreciate their help and their kindness. I have recommended this to company to everyone at work -- they are fantastic.

The technician was on time and very professional. I just purchased a home and did not know anything about the unit except it looked old. Dustin was able to validate the age of the unit and determined it was actually running pretty efficiently but needed maintenance. I appreciate the honesty and will use this company again.

The technician was very nice and I don’t feel like he was rushing through the job. He was knowledgeable and easily answered all my questions.

Team arrived on time for appointment. Downstairs air ducts were cleaned but the team was out of biocide. After team left, discovered that outside unit coils, supply and return ducts were not cleaned. I believe there was some confusion as to what was included in the coupon price, but it is clearly stated that these services were to be provided. Team seemed to be in a hurry. $399 for 20 minutes for cleaning 10 air ducts was excessive.

They provided basic maintenance and cleaning. They didn't notice a buzz due to a mismatched capacitor that I had another company come out six months later and fix.

First person they sent out was clueless. The excuse I received was new in the ac field . He said all the mechanics were fine. The second person that came out diagnosed then problem correctly. How can someone not realize the compressor not working?

They did some work for me at some rental properties. I wasn't really hands on. From what I understand they were okay, They were pretty punctually. They did the work satisfactorily. Shortly after, within a month, I had some additional work that needed to be done we ere instructed they should've been aware of it on their tune it.

Their sales rep met with me and went over my options. I chose a 16 seer variable speed, as it included a 10 yr warranty on parts/labor and lifetime replacement. With Angie's List discount, it helped make the pricing where I wanted it.

The tech, Daman, was very knowledgeable and spotted and replaced a broken capacitor within a few minutes. The service was professional and pleasant, so I signed up for a Silver Advantage Plan (which is maintenance 2x/ year). I liked that the receipt was emailed straight away in a PDF format. I also received a follow-up email asking how the visit went, as well as a follow-up phone call from a very sweet lady named Mary Jo who was checking to see if I had any feedback or if I needed anything else. The only feedback I had was that when I called initially to schedule the repair, there was a miscommunication and I thought that the tech was scheduled for a specific time. And then I had to call the office to get a status when he wasn't there at that time. He did eventually call and gave me his ETA, which was fine, I completely understand that other repair jobs can run late. But perhaps if I was initially given a time range, rather than a specific time, it would have been less stressful.

Good, but had to return a couple of months after installation to correct a problem I discovered in the heater installation. It was fixed at no further charge.

All went as I hoed for. Very thorough.

It went very well. I had lots of questions to ask and the tech answered everything to my satisfaction.
