The service guy came out that same evening at no extra cost and determined that the unit most likely would need to be replaced but also gave us a quote for just repairing it. We have since decided to replace the unit given the cost of repair. The service guy was very professional and knowledgeable and gave us a very detailed description of what the issue was. I would recommend them highly.

The scheduled appointment had to be changed several times because the Aire Serv Technician was running behind. They did call me to let me know. Once the service guy got to my house, he asked if he could re-schedule taking a look at the HVAC system because it was dark. I said that would be fine. We scheduled him to come back but on the day he was to come back he was unable to do so. The Tech did light the logs and was most courteous, polite and offered some helpful hints in re: carbon monoxide prevention. Aire Serv's office personnel called back again to apologize and to re-schedule. They are now scheduled to come back again on Thurs., Jan. 28, 2016. The pilot light on my logs has gone out again. I will have the technician take another look when he returns to look at the HVAC system.

They couldn't do it. They came to my house and they looked at my air ducts and they said my air ducts were of a manufacturer that their air duct cleaner could not fit in but they did look at the rest of the ducts underneath the physical ducts themselves. They didn't go inside the ducts but they said the duct work was good and it was satisfactory. The air duct people were very, very gracious after they realized they couldn't move inside my air duct. They looked at my air system and they were very, very good. I liked them and I would use them again. They were good people and they couldn't perform the overall service that I hired them for to look inside my ducts because their equipment couldn't do the job. They were right on time. They were punctual. They called me and let me know that they were coming. They were very professional.

The technician arrived on time, cleaned and serviced my two heat pumps, and answered questions I had on the operation and maintenance of my system. He also provided useful tips on maintaining my heating system that will save me money in the future.

I have used this company for nearly 12 years and have always been very pleased with their service. They are professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Because I have used them for many years, they know the history of each of my heating/ac units. They are always honest about what works needs to be done. Best of all, their prices are very reasonable!

It was a pleasure working with Aire Serve. Customer service started from the first call made, the receptionist was very pleasant and professional. They were willing to accomidate our schedule and arrive late afternoon to provide an inspection and evaluation of our current equipment. John provided a thorough evaluation of our home and existing equipment. He explained options and cost and although no one wants to spend thousands of dollars before the holidays, the price was very fair. We were having warm weather at the time, but John made sure the team was scheduled to begin work the next day as colder weather was in the forecast. Everyone that came to our home was on time, professional and courteous, the installers even vacuumed and swept before they left! John followed up to make sure everything agreed upon was to our satisfaction (and it was). I highly recommend this team, they did a great job!

He found the problem and fixed it plus service the system. He drilled the dust out of the system.

they arrived promptly. they had a very good attitude Did the job but did not tell me until it was finished that they shortened the dryer hose nor did they tell me that the flap on the roof would not move and that they had taken it off to fix it. Before they did these things. I , also, had breathing issues from the lint/dust that got into my home. It affected me and my pet. It might not bother other people but I am very sensitive to dust. there was nothing to check to put that I might use them again. I might if they find a way to eliminate the dust/lint from getting into the air in my home. so I could not check maybe. on a positive note: I was so worried I called a roof place. He checked the roof and said it was ok. I was afraid of a leak. I was told as I remember that there was some dust/lint and I think he vac it up.. but with my sensitivity . I gave them a C for professionalism because of the dust/lint. NOTE: I did not put down correct date for the work done. it has been awhile.

Appointment for inspection was schedule quickly. Technician showed up on time and was very kind and knowledgeable about the system. Gave an honest inspection and notified of me of potential future repairs. Did NOT try to sell me anything I did not need, very honest. Appointment did not take any longer than necessary to complete the inspection. Helped me to stop a rattling noise coming from my HVAC fan unit!! Apparently the previous home owner had a hide-a-key box hidden under it which was causing the noise I had been hearing for years. Good service and great deal from Angie's List, would recommend to anybody in the area.

First, I would like to say that I will never ever do business with this company again. The technician that worked for this company was dishonest with me about something called an Advantage Plan. He never explained anything about an Advantage plan nor had my permission to charge me for any Advantage Plan. I thought he was charging me for the replacement of a drain pan. There is nothing on my copy of the bill indicating that I was sold an Advantage Plan. When he came back on 8/5/2015 to install the new drain pan, he stated that the Advantage Plan was part of the deal with Angie's list. I told him it was not and I would not pay him any more money for the drain pan and installation. By this time I was angry and told him he could shove his drain pan. He left my home and never returned. I wrote a letter of complaint to Aire Services Heating and Air Conditioning that they should have received on or before 8/20/15. I asked that they refund any money I paid for the Advantage Plan. As of this date, 9/26/2015, I have not received a response from Aire Services.

It surprised me that the fan was defective and that the fan was soooo expensive. The A/C now works fine. Repair parts are always expensive and that is not the repairman's fault. Overall we are happy to have a functioning system!

It cost quite a bit. I would use them in the future.

They had to order the part, but came back out on the same day to put it on. He was very professional and gave me a discount on the part since I was a member of Angie's list. I also decided buy a Silver maintenance plan that was discounted to $99.00 because that is the price they sell it at to members of Angie's List.

Great! When encountering a real a/c emergency on a weekend, a Saturday in this case, you need quick responsive help and Aire Serv of Huntsville at 2106 W Ferry Way SW, Huntsville, AL 35801 came to my rescue! My upstairs 2nd floor a/c unit's condensation drain line became clogged and overflowed. The overflowing water from the drain pan began leaking, causing damage to a 2nd floor bedroom. It was a good thing we were home and noticed it early in the process, but not before there was significant ceiling damage unfortunately. When seeing water dripping from the ceiling at such a rate that it fills up a three gallon bucket in less than 20 minutes, I knew I needed quick action. First thing, in order to stop the water flow, you have to turn off the unit. :-( Sadness, and while it's really hot here in Alabama in August, it has to be done. Now, here's where the frustrating part comes in, searching the The Real Yellow Pages and taking a SWAG at who to call. Not knowing who to call, I wound up calling four a/c companies who all advertised "7X24 Emergency Service". I will warn Angie's List customers that that is much easier to advertise in the phone book or on-line than to actually execute. Two a/c companies completely and totally failed on the emergency response. (I wrote them up separately). Two companies were super responsive and when both were appearing to arrive at about the same time, yes, this was a race as far as I was concerned, I called one of them off at the last minute. The one I called off was All Seasons One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning so full credit goes to them for being responsive and quick. Not only did the technician, Dustin, quickly confirm my diagnosis and began effecting repairs, he also found plumbing problems in the crawlspace underneath the house that would need to be rectified or I would be looking at having this problem recur, with possibly even greater damage since the two hot water heaters upstairs (yes, poor design) were also plumbed into the same drainage line. A huge no-no but there you are. So I will continue to work with Aire Serv in following up to fix an inherent plumbing issue and wanted to share a good news story of great work and responsiveness when the cat hit the fan for me on a weekend.

They came out the day that I purchased the deal. They fixed the problem that night. It broke two days later so they came back. It has been perfect ever since. There was $300 additional but it was a fair price. It wasn't just a small repair. We got a significant repair. It was perfect. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves. They wore booties before walking in the home. They could have diagnosed the real problem the first time.

Michael was the repairman, and he did a terrific job on a brutally hot day. It only took him a few minutes to diagnose the problem. He went and got a new fan motor and put it in, and my unit is now working perfectly! I will definitely use this company again.

Not good in the end. Said they did service. A/C was not cooling very good about 5 weeks after their service. Called a different a/c company, they said the coils were filthy and cleaned them ( I saw the dirt when they washed out) Also it needed a Freon and they added a little. Works good now. Spent $99 thu angies list for aire serv and wasted the money. They were supposed to clean coils and obviously did not and they were supposed to provide up to 3 lbs of Freon if needed and they put none in said it did not need. Don't use. they do not do what they say. Wasted money

Went great showed up on time and was very knowledgeable about the unit. Would use again.

After an initial scheduling 'hick up', things went well. I was surprised with the depth of 'check up' the technician performed on my system (for such a great price).

All went well. The tech was able to identify the problem and locate the part at Parks Supply. He went to get the new part and installed it then realized he was missing a piece and had to return to Parks supply. He then completed the replacement. The air conditioner was turned on and was working just fine. He was on time and professional at all times.
