ADT Security Services

Don't go near ADT .. I am a single business owner /career woman over 65 who lives alone..I live in a stable nice area of town. Due to my increased hours and travel schedules at work I purchased an ADT system (about 2 yrs ago ) It was a precautionary/safety measure. but within 6 mo (+|/-) months of installation my home was burglarized and then again within a couple months after that. I had all the bells and whistles on the system $$$. When I looked them up to get number I noticed that most of their offices on line had been permanently closed ... My sales rep also had quite his sales position.I can't seem to even turn in their equipment and they are still auto drafting payments ... Seems a bit odd that I was burglarized for the first time ( 2xs ) After their folks came into my home to install their equipment . Donna B .

I am getting estimates from several companies for a security/alarm system for my mother's house. I called the 1-800 ADT number to have them come out and give me an estimate. After going over promotions/pricing and even setting up a time and date for the estimate, they asked for my social security number. I refuse to give my SSN when all I'm doing is gathering estimates. No need for a company to run a credit report until I obligate to buy something. After refusal a manager got on the line. He actually tried to buy me into giving out my SSN (offered me a VISA gift card). I asked him if he gave out his SSN to all car dealers prior to picking out a car......he said no, haha. I ended up hanging up and therefore will have no estimate from ADT. Their loss, not mine.

They are pretty comment. That's nice. The system was very good when they just installed it. We do not have to call them for anything regarding the installation. ADT is a very popular company around here. I think, everybody has ADT.

They give me a sense of security. I don't have anything bad going on in my neighbor. I installed it so I can go to sleep at night knowing that there are no issues. Quality is really good but price is a little high. I don't know how the price compares to other companies because I haven't shopped around. They were very responsive when they installed it.

They don't really do anything. When they first put the system in the home, it was ADT authorized installers. Some are good, and some are bad. This last one was a little bad. I would continue to use their services.

They do a great job. I will continue to use them.

They are fine. We haven't had any problems. The one time we had an incident and the alarm went off, they turned it in and the police came and everything was fine.
