+ -1 moreThe first person to assess the problem thought we needed a bigger drain. That solution would have cost over 4k. I wasn't that sure it would be an adequate solution. The technition sent in to implement the drain agreed with me. He suggested adding two french drains to increase the surface area. He said this exact combination has been successful at his house for over eight years. His personal testimonial convinced me that this latter method was the way to go. Even better, the cost was not substantially more for the additional French drains.
Description of Work: The number one enemy of the integrity of our home has been water. In the thirteen years we've lived here, the basement has flooded numerous times; once taking out the garage door and the water heater. Roto Rooter assessed the problem and hopefully fixed it

+ -1 moreI haven't had any problems since, it was well worth the money and I felt like he went above and beyond by coming out for a follow up visit on his day off.
Description of Work: The sink kept backing up in the kitchen, we thought it was a clog but apparently it was just going out to dirt so they re-piped the line.
