 + -1 moreThe work appears to be excellent. The only difficult I experienced was in communicating. The provider is dedicated to her craft and takes pride in doing the best job possible. I would strongly recommend her to anyone wanting quality work done on irreplaceable antique furniture.

 + 2 moreWe heard about Elena's Antique Restoration from the moving company that had damaged our antique chest of drawers. They always use them whenever they have damage occur to their furniture and recommend them to other people. We had the damaged piece delivered to the restoration shop where we met with the owner. She was very professional and a delight to talk to. She understood what we wanted and we were contacted a few days later with an estimate for the repairs. We agreed to the estimate and she told us it would be about 4 weeks for the repairs to be completed. Well, she called us in about 2 weeks and told us our chest was ready. We were totally shocked that it had taken half the time she had figured. That was a pleasant surprise. When we saw our restored chest of drawers we were really impressed. It looked great! We have some more smaller pieces that we will be bringing to her shop in the future. We learned after talking with her that they do repairs and restoration on all sorts of items. We highly recommend using her services and we will be using her again in the future.
Description of Work: They repaired an antique chest of drawers that had gotten severely damaged during a move. Two legs had to be completely replaced and they were very ornate pieces that had to be recreated from a solid block of wood. The new legs looked identical to the other two and matched beautifully. The back of the chest had been split into about six pieces and they were able to glue these pieces back together and you could not even tell were the joints were after everything was finished. They waxed and refinished the entire chest and it looks just like it did when we purchased it. It is an early 18th century piece we purchased in London for $34,000. It did not fare well during the journey to the United States.
