He was very nice and understanding, but he did not complete the job, he did not return my phone calls, there was no receipt for the transaction, he just took my money and ran.

I received their information from Home Advisor. It took a while for them to come out and measure. After measuring, the initial pool liner they measured and ordered was incorrectly sized and did not fit. They blamed the product manufacturer. They had to reorder the liner. That was an additional wait time. When they installed it everything was done correctly and the liner is beautiful. They do have a communication problem when it comes to follow up and follow thru. I have been emailing and calling for them to come out and open the pool for the summer for us. There has not been a response or reply to numerous emails and calls. I have not heard a word. I am going to contact someone else. I cannot refer others to them because of this. Awful professionalism!

They do not call back and they do not follow through.

These people did not show up when expected. They did not even make any effort in the past 3 weeks. Never got pool completely clean and clear.

He does not show up when he says he will. He does not call to let you know if he is not going to make it. He has almost zero communication.

Initially we had an issue over scheduling, but that issue has been resolved and the work has been done. They did a great job, the new liner looks great. They were very pleasant to work with and Mr. Cotter even gave me some advice about general upkeep of my above ground pool. Much appreciated all around.

I hired Ed Cotter, Better Pools and Patios last October. They requested a $1000 deposit, which I provided. They could not start immediately, so they said they would tell me when they had availability. They contacted me requesting about 80% of the remaining funds to save my place in line. I foolishly provided those funds. They have done about 20% of the work. I have kept in touch with them for the six months or so. Granted weather has been terrible during the week. I, last heard from Ed two or three weeks ago. I am beginning to wonder if they are still in business.

Home advisor got the service to respond. The owner, Ed Cotter, came alone. He said that day that he could get the job done by that Sat. If the weather held up! Funny thing, pretty days would come & go with no Ed Cotter. He tried to honor his agreement but too big of job for 1 man. My personal employee moved all of the pool deck furniture so Ed could get to work on the pool.Moving the furn. Had been part of his job.This went on for weeks. Another (1) man came with him a few times. They NEVER cleaned up behind themselves at the end of the day. Their stuff was haphazardly all over my yard for months. The work was NOT adequate but he wanted to blame my dog. After so much time, we decided to cut our losses and just forget the over $10,000.00 we had paid him up front for a year of pool cleaning, and to resurface our pool and the surrounding pool deck. This job was too big for Ed to finish. We fired him because we were tired of his mess and inadequacies. We hired another pool company and within a week they were well on their way to delivering exactly what they promised us. No money up front either! Home Advisor s only answer was they could offer us arbitration! When the man can t do the job - and with the Amt. of time that we gave him already it is obvious that he can t deliver on his word. We re out the money but ATLEAST we now have someone to do the work and finish the job that was started in December. I am sad for Ed. We honestly tried to give him time to do a good job. We even gave him the money upfront to do the job. I personally hope he can get back on his feet but I certainly could NEVER recommend him to anyone. I ll just say Buyer Beware .

They cleaned up our above the ground pool. We had to call them back out to vacuum a bit more, but other then that the pool looks great after the service.

He was great to work with. Came out when we needed him. Weâ ve never owned a pool before and he helped educate us.

The company came out to look at my above ground pool pump. That is just what they did look and said yes that pump is too small. They recommended a large pump that goes with an in ground pool. Pump has leaked from day one. They do not keep appointments as scheduled. Something always happening, car breaking down, busy due to weather. I paid them $800 for a pump that has leaked from day one. They said they warranty their work and obviously they do not. They came out and & looked again and said if they have to come back it will be a service call. Acted like it was very inconvenient for them once they received their money.

They're great people to work with they come out every time they said they were and no matter how many days it took to get it clean great job
