A Closer Look Inspection Service

Mr. Datka arrived at the house early and began inspection. He assessed the house from roof to crawl space. Mr. Datka went over the inspection with me at the house and physically showed me the areas of concern. I took a copy of the inspection results with me after the inspection, a typed copy was e-mailed to us by the next day, and the final bound report along with a CD of all the photos came in the mail by the next day.

First of all, remember that I was not the buyer but the seller of the property! He was on time, extremely thorough (spent over 4 hours on the inspection) and documented the entire inspection with numerous digital photos. He also brought to my attention a safety issue where an exhaust flute had become partially disconnected which could allow carbon monoxide to seep into my crawlspace and potentially into my home. This was just after my heating and air company had just inspected and missed it! He took a picture of the flute and I showed my heating and air representative the very next day the picture Chris had emailed me. OUTSTANDING! I was also there for his thorough debrief to the buyer. He pointed out 'goods' and 'others' and when it was classified as an 'other' he would tell you his opinion about it. Extremely thorough! I will definitely use him whenever I require and inspection!
