Description of Work: I called on Monday, they came Tuesday. Part had to be ordered and was installed on Friday. The nicest people you will ever deal with! Service call- $75+part. Highly Recommended!!!

+ -1 moreI have a summer home at Wedowee We have had issues on one of the units. I contacted them from an Angie's list referral on Friday morning to see if they could look at it. The arrived Sat morning during the times I told them we would be there and fixed the issue right away. they then inspected the rest of the system and are going to write up recommendations to fix issues the original installer did wrong. They were very curtious and professional.

Description of Work: I used Bain heating to repair my a/c in December 2012 as the heating went. They came out quickly and completed the repair fast and for a very reasonable price. When I finally had the money to change my a/c unit they were the first company I went to. I did get other quotes which were nowhere near the price Bain offered, and didn't come with the common sense advice I got when they were providing the quote (like paying more for a larger unit is just a waste of money for my size house). When I had some concerns about the unit they came straight out to check the system free of charge.

+ -1 moreOverall we went for a couple of weeks in extreme heat without a working heat pump while waiting for this company to finally figure out what what wrong with our unit. Here's a tip...they sent out their best guy to work on it ultimately...his name is John Barkley. We did have to wait a few days to get him, but it was well worth it when he finally figured out the problem. None of the other guys even checked the drain line, and that is something John indicated should routinely be checked, along with freon and some other simple things. I now usually use Gene Hamlin (he is a fast responder) in Lineville, but if he couldn't figure out a problem, I'd call Bain in a heartbeat and ask for John Barkley exclusively to work on our unit.
Description of Work: We have used Bain for a few years. They have regularly worked on our old worn out heat pump. Some of their technicians are really good, and some of them who came couldn't figure out a problem and we had to wait additional days for someone else to come. Most of the employees are good ol' country boys, and they are always very friendly, but most not 'professional'. One time a person came and gave us a pricey fix in the $200 range and the fix did not work. A second worker was sent out and he could not figure out what was wrong, so a few days later yet another worker came out, and the problem the whole time was simply that the drain line needed to be flushed out. It had some debris and water in it. The extra parts and stuff put on it were not needed, said this technician. Bain worked with us and dropped much of the charges and owned up to their mistake. Because of this, we would use them in the future. Another good thing is that they always let us make payments, and they don't usually do that. One of their employees left and started his own business in Lineville, Gene Hamlin.

+ -1 moreWent with system recommended by Mr. Bain. Energy efficient with excellent warranty. Duct work installed as promised and on time. Also, Heating and A/C pack installed when promised. Work was very professional and system looks as if it was installed when home was built. One year later and no problems with system. Very satisfied with system and Bain Heating A/C.
Description of Work: Installation of Heating (Heat Pump) and Cooling system to include all duct work in a home over 30 years old with no previous central system.
