Sprays Termite & Pest Control

We bought our home last year and the prior owner used Spray's so we decided to keep using their service. We live in a wooded area of town have have had no bug problems at all, not even giant roaches in the garage (which is impressive to me). The technician always calls to schedule the appointment and he has been prompt every time. We do get spider webs in the backyard around our back windows and the tech guy always sweeps the windows. We've owned four different homes and not once have we had a pest control company sweep our exterior windows for webs. When we had our house inspected prior to buying it, we used a different company to do the termite inspection since our home had been treated for termites by Spray's (and continues to be treated). The inspecting company gave our house a clean bill of health (which is important because we have a wood exterior.) The other company, which also has a good reputation for their pest control services, said good things about Spray's. The tech is also friendly, but I've never met an unfriendly pest control person. :)

Quick response to my query, estimate given within 2 days, scheduled work at my convenience, showed up on time. Job was more complex than we thought, but they did it within a reasonable time, and cleaned up all debris and left place looking pristine. Reasonable price, was happy to pay bill when they sent the invoice.

Technician was on schedule and delivered his service quickly. Also explained the chemical used for spider treatment and safety precautions for dogs.

Inspector was on time and issued the letter quickly. I have used Spray's for several years and have never had a problem. When cuts were taking place at work they allowed me to suspend my service and help the price for me when I resumed service.

Provider sent out a Termite Inspector in order to obtain a termite letter for the purchase of a home. Inspector arrived and spent about an hour conducting the inspection. I had a Home Inspector there and an HVAC inspector/repairer as well conducting their inspections. He spent more time talking with the other inspectors instead of conducting a complete inspection. I waited for several weeks for a letter and never received a report or a letter. About a week before the closing I asked the Realtor to call and find out the status of the letter. She spoke with the Owner who said they had no record of an inspector coming out to the house. I described the inspector that was there and the uniform that he wore (white shirt, red letter logo). Still...nothing. Because of this I am not sure I can trust the organizational skills required to maintain records on my home for anything in the future. We had to use another service to obtain a letter and I am now using Cooks for the monthly services. Spray's is cheaper than the other services, but their level of service matches the lower price.

Spray's came last fall to spray my attic with insulation. Great job, prompt and professional. Late this spring when the weather warmed up I began to notice that the recessed lights in my kitchen were going off and on. Did some research and found out that the recessed lights should not have insulation around them or they will turn on and off to protect the lights from overheating. I called Jackie at Spray's and advised him of the problem. Truth be told I mentioned the recessed lights to them when they sprayed in the fall and they said they would be careful not to get insualtion around the lights. Well instead of arguing the details, Jackie told me he would get somebody out in the next couple of days to take care of the problem. Sure enough, they showed up and put in boxes arond the lights. One individual looked like he had been swimming in a pool when he came out of the attic (probably 115 degrees up there). Anyway, they came, they saw and they conquered. Jackie told me he was very sorry for the oversight and the service call was completely free with no hassle. These guys stand behind their work which is a refreshing outcome in today's business environment. THANK YOU SPRAYS!!

They are wonderful. No problems and cost is reasonable.

The job got off to a bit of a rocky start. When the estimator was here, we agreed they would adding 1" thick, foil covered foam board to the bonus room and add blown in R38 thickness to the attic, but when the guys got here they had 1/2" foam board with no foil on it. The guys went out and came back with foil covered foam board but it was still 1/2" thick. I talked with one of the owners by phone and explained what the original agreement was and he told me he would try to locate some 1" board. I called a day later to check and spoke with one of the other owners, Stan Spray. Stan told me he would come out to talk with me and he showed up at the agreed time. I explained what I needed and had talked about with their estimator and Stan understood what I was after. He ordered the 1" thick foil covered foam board (this is not something that is usually installed in this area) and a little over two weeks later we set a time to have his folks install the insulation. The two installers, Greg and Wayne, showed up at the time we agreed and had the correct materials. They took about a day and a half to do the entire job. Greg and Wayne worked well together and installed and taped the foam board exactly as I expected it to be done. They also added some spray-in foam around my attic access door frame to seal air leaks. They added the R38 blown in insulation, and I believe they actually put it in slightly thicker than R38. Once we got past the initial communication difficulty, everything went smoothly. I was happy with the job they did and it was just as expected. I would recommend Greg and Wayne as installers as they obviously have experience and they work efficiently together. I would use them again.

Called Sprays for an estimate to add insulation to our attic. Jackie of Spray's arrived the next day, inspected the attic and gave me a very reasonalbe estimate. Set up the job for the following Friday. Called the next day saying there was a cancellation and could do the job that day (day after estimate). Two individuals showed up that afternnon and did a very professional job. Both individuals were very curteous and were in and out in less than two hours. One fo the individuals talked to me about their pest control and gave me some details regarding cost and treatment. I am leaning toward hiring them for termite and pest control as they can beat my current providers price by 50%. Would certainly recommend this company to my friends and neighbors!!

Called Spray's requesting an estimate to install the vents in August timeframe. They were punctual based on date we agreed upon. Was professional on that day. Stated they would install the following week. They did not. I called to ask when they were going to install and they stated the end of that week. They did not show up. I called the home office and asked again and they called the person to see what was going on. He then called me and said his crew will install the following week. They did not. I called one last time, and it happened again. Needless to say I was not in a big hurry and I just forgot about them installing and was planning to find someone else. But, unexpectingly, someone showed up to install the vents on on or about 2 Oct. He was professional and installed the vents. Vents look good on the house. I assume since my job was not a big job and they may have had bigger jobs with higher priorities that they delayed me. I am a patient person, so it did not bother me much. But, if you are impatient you may not give them the second, third, or fourth chance I gave them. Bottomline they do good work, just are not puntual and responsive all the time.

They were punctual, professional, and highly effective, as opposed to Terminix, who never, in 3 or 4 visits stopped the problem. They found the source of the problem and said we had to treat not only the window gap that was letting the insects in, but also the crawl space to effectively stop the problem. They actually had three people here looking for the source. The other company told us and quot;hey, you are near the forest, you're going to have problemsand quot;. The other comapny refused to climb a ladder to treat the house. Sprays brought their own ladder and used it to find the problem.

They did everything they said they would do. I really liked the crew. It was an extraordinarily hot day and they got the job done in a decent amount of time.

The team was very professional and made sure they explained the steps they will be taken. And the service provided was great.

The two gentlemen who performed the work did an excellent job. The only error I noted was in the billing by the accounting office but that error was corrected as soon as it was brought to their attention. (They left off the 10% discount.). I would recommend them in the future.

All went well, they were on time and did what they had to. quick and painless.

Person who gave estimate appeared very honest,neat and professional. Both crews who did work were friendly and professional.

I called Sprays and set up an inspection and estimate. The representatives came on time, listened to my concerns and offered a solution. I received a quote and thought it was affordable for the work to be performed. After accepting the quote, a time was set for installation. The crew arrived promptly as promised, along with one of the owners of the company. The owner reviewed what was to be done with me and the crew. Total job took about 3 and half hours. I had insulation blown in on the outside wall of the garage and in the ceiling above the garage. The crew patched all the holes and left no mess whatsoever. I would highly recommend Sprays for this type of work. Very pleased.

I called Sprays Termite and Pest Control as I needed attic insulation. We set up a time and date and they arrived within 15-20 minutes of their start time but it was a very cold day and I'm sure difficult to get everything in order and ready to go. When they arrived they started unreeling the hose and going up to the attic. It took approximately 1 1/2 hours for them to complete the attic.

I filed a complaint and never heard back here at Angie's List. At first the employee was very nice and polite. I had a friend to drop by to pick his dog up. This gentleman Africian American and the employee from the Pest Control was very rude. The friend spoke and was barely acknowledged. The Pest Control Employee packed his things up and left and have yet to hear from that company until last month lettng me know, it was time for renewal. When I contacted the company in the beginning a Terminate Bond Letter was included in the price. When I received services I was told that I would have to pay additional for said Letter

Suggest be sure you get exact estimate of services as made change and increase in cost was more than expected. Had to call back to get insulation trimmed to permit sheetrock installation.

Very reasonable price and good service.

They do a great job. We haven't had any problems with bugs since they have been coming out.

I have deciided to have them quarterly. Thanks to Angie's List we were able to find a good fit for what I was looking for.
