I never heard from them. After submitting request on Angie’s list.

The estimator did not show at the agreed upon time. I called the office to find out where he was. I chalked this up to a misunderstanding. And was told he would be able to come later that day. The estimator was pleasant and took a look at the job. He said he would text or call with estimate. Two days later we got a text, I believe, that said their company does not handle this type of job. I wish the estimator would have simply told us that up front. To the company’s credit, they did recommend a person that did carpentry on the side. I would have had more respect for this company if the hadn’t made us waste two days to get our job done. From there we had to go back to the drawing board to select another company. We did get our project done but it was more stressful than it had to be. I feel the bottom line for this company as far as my job goes was that it wasn’t a big enough job for them. Money does talk.

It went great. He arrived on time and did a very good job taking time to explain what was needed and what was not needed yet.

I found Clean Sweep super easy to do business with. I wanted to put a chimney cap on my furnace flue. Some of the other vendors I talked to wanted to turn it into a complicated, expensive process. With Clean Sweep I was able to to discuss the project with a couple of e-mails and we were good to go. Not having used them before I was a little nervous about what to expect but the whole experience was handled professionally, quickly and at an affordable price. The cap itself looked to be of the highest quality and the service technician was friendly and conscientious. I was very happy with the end result.

Cap installation was great. I wouldn't consider it a very thorough inspection, they just looked inside with a flashlight and said all good.

We're gonna hold of doing any work for now, but if we do we'll use Clean sweep

It cost too much for what they did. I expected them to do more and had discussed that when I scheduled them

Service was prompt, quick, and concise. Provided solutions to problems I didn't know I had: rearranged gas logs to proper placement; installed baffle clip to code for gas appliance. Would hire again

Very professional inspection with explanation of all details of findings. The home was a recent purchase and had been vacant for quite a while. It is also an older home. It made me feel very reassured that it was inspected so well by a fireman. I will recommend to all of my friends. I also had questions weeks after the service. They were able to pull my records and give me detailed information of findings that answered what i needed to know. Great service!

I can't say enough about how wonderful Clean Sweep was to work with. They are extremely professional and always courteous. I contacted a couple of fireplace professionals and this was the only company that responded in a timely manner. You can always get in touch with them and their prices are extremely reasonable. We were missing a damper for our fire place and this type of damper is no longer made. Instead of telling us we needed a new fireplace, they went and found us a damper that works perfectly. They went above and beyond anything they were asked to do. Would recommend time and time again!!!!

Great company. Came out and did the installation in spite of a busy schedule. Great job; no mess; did the extras; took time to explain. Highly recommend these folks. Had previously done an inspection of the fireplace and chimney. Again, fantastic job, reasonable price. Was nice knowing that the men are firefighters, and understand safety from years of experience in seeing how things can go wrong. Gave me an extra level of comfort.

Great experience! First visit: they came and gave me a competitive estimate (more affordable than some other companies I asked) and explained the repair that was needed. They were prepared to fix the chimney that day but courteously waited at my request and scheduled a second visit to do the repairs. Left our house clean, neat. Will definitely use them again!

They came out and measured the chimney cap, fabricated at their shop and installed it.

He was very nice, thorough, and made sure my home did not get dirty while he was cleaning. Did an outstanding job.

They were extremely prompt and helpful. They did all the things I asked them to do in a timely fashion and made helpful recommendations . I will definitely use them again and give their name and info to others.

The service call went well. The technician, who is also a firefighter for Vestavia Hills, showed up on time (actually at the beginning of the window they provided). He was courteous, polite, and professional. Inspected my chimney from inside the house, and climbed up onto the roof and inspected the roof, flashing, cap. He did not have any recommended services, but gave me some indications of things to be aware of in the future. He did not try to sell me things I didn't need, was honest, and most importantly thorough. I was satisfied with Clean Sweep, and would use them again.

They are on time and knowlegable and professional.

They were right on time; the issue I had with smoke in the house was explained in detail, the problem corrected, and the work done professionally.

It was a good experience overall.

After Clean Sweep checked my chimney and fireplace much to my delight I was told there was nothing wrong except for a little normal rust. He also explained that the other company is notorious for finding phantom problems to make up for the money lost to Groupon. I was very impressed with the time spent talking with me about the issues and subsequent estimate to replace the cap. However, I was told there was no hurry. Refreshing honesty! It's so nice to have a company I can trust.

This company is fantastic. Their servicemen are professional, thorough and knowledgeable. The serviceman that did the work prepared a detailed set of notes on my work order letting me know exactly what he did, inside and out. He even let me know I had some potential areas outside and on the roof that needed attention. I have them scheduled next week to perform this year's fireplace & chimney inspection and cleaning. I would not use anyone else after having dealt with this company. They are excellent.

Easy to set up appointment, they were on time, professional and thorough. Excellent service

Called them out as we bought a new home with a fireplace and never have had a fireplace place and wanted it inspected and cleaned and any maintenance done before use. We thought from our home inspection that a some maintenance would be needed and most likely cleaned. The company was professional and informative and inspected everything thoroughly along with telling usage information and not charging for a cleaning or anything else when I would have paid for it gladly if needed. They were honest, timely, informative, licensed and I will/would use them again. They are firefighters who seem to want to keep people safe and although the wait for an appointment availability took a few weeks I would say if at all possible wait for these people if you can! Do call before the season starts then waiting for their availability will not be an issue. Do tell them to call you beforehand they did this as showed up promptly, not waiting around at all like other times. Do have questions ready if you want to ask them they were more than glad to answer any questions asked Do get them to offer you a second opinion on any "work" that needs to be done by other companies they were honest when they could have not been and made more money on unnecessary procedures.

It went well. I called and got an estimate on everything and they came out one trip to clean and inspect the chimney. While they were there they measured the chimney and gave me price on the cap and putting in the gas start and the new cutoff. They came back the next week and installed the cap an put in the gas start and the new cutoff. They had to take up a few of the bricks to run the pipe for the cutoff properly and they did a fantastic job. I would recommend them and will use them again to clean my chimney.
