Called the afternoon I noticed the leak in the bathroom ceiling. Saw that the drain pan under the water heater was full of water. They came out the next morning and installed the new gas water heater which took approximately 3 hours. Rechecked the gas connections to make sure there were no gas leaks. They worked carefully to not damage the house and even wore cloth booties over their shoes. Very pleased with the service.

I hired George on the first occasion to repair my kitchen sink and outside faucets. They did a great job, were professional, showed up when promised, were efficient with their time and charged a fair price. Because they did such a good job the first time I called back and hired them for the other items on my list. Again I was not disappointed. The second time was a different pair of men but they were just as good as the guys who came out the first time.

Called George Plumbing at 11 AM and they were at my house by 1:30 that afternoon. They had the drain running like new within an hour! The guys were very courteous, knowledgeable about the pipes/drain issues in my kitchen, and professional. I enjoyed talking with them as they worked, and I was able to use my Angie's 5% discount :) When my husband got home and I told him how much I paid he said he thought the price was reasonable. GREAT! Within 30 minutes of calling in my service request, they had already called me back and were on their way to my house. The outside water leak was from one of my upstairs water heaters, and the valve controlling the drain line had failed, causing the drain line to be constantly pouring out a steady stream of water, which is what caught my initial attention when I heard water running outside my den windows, while standing on my outside deck, a running water sound that I had never heard before from that location. Would call these guys again in an instant!

The technicians were prompt and courteous. They replaced a section of copper pipe where the leak was occurring and ensured it was soldered correctly. No more leaks! Thoroughly tested for additional leaks after the repair. Excellent price for 1 hour of service!

We are using George Plumbing. They were here last week, May 5th of 2016. Everything from shower to commode to tub, I mean the whole nine yards, I mean, they've done it all. They had troubles with the directions my husband gave them and he had to take off work to come home and supervise but once he was here the work done was wonderful. The quality of the work was wonderful once they knew what they needed they did the work and they did a really good job.

They came back and fixed something they should have fixed the first time and charged me again for it.

They came out the same day I called and were on time.

They fixed the toilet that was leaking into my basement/garage below but they fixed the same problem a year ago and the problem happened again. The tech, Roger, said they used two rings on wax last year and this time he used three. I was charged $145 this time for something that they should have done right last year. I won't use these guys again. The only reason I called them this time was because I thought they would correct their mistake without charge.

It was a disaster. I had a pipe blockage. Years ago someone had told me that when they ran a line down the pipe that they saw a metal sewage cap was partially blocking the pipe. They cleaned the line as best they could and it has worked ever since until recently. I called George's (I make an effort to use local businesses) and told them to come out with a camera to see what the problem was. They arrived without one, and ran a mechanical snake down the line. It churned and ground for a very long time. Finally, they said it broke their head and they had to get another and were going to get a camera. They came back without a camera and said the pipe had separated (I live on a hill). They cleaned the blockage enough to use it and we decided to wait until after Christmas to do further repairs. They acted like it might not be possible to do it without major excavation under my house. I called Roto Rotter and he is able to lay new pipe to replace the broken one for the same price that they charged to not fix it. Ridiculous. I wonder if they make it worse with their hours long grinding with the snake. They don't know what they are doing.

They were excellent in everything. They were so good and tried so hard. They told me everything I could possibly want to know about the problem. Being a rental house, I'm never there and they performed the service I needed.

Roger and Gary were awesome. They showed up earlier than expected and did the work in a quick and efficient manner. I couldn't be happier with the service that was provided. I would hire them again without a second thought.

Julian and Chris showed up on time and were extremely personable! I showed them where the problem was and they got right to work. Within 20 minutes they had the waterline exposed and brought me out to see the problem. Julian asked how old the house was and based on this he commented that a regulator is generally good for 5 to 10 years and gave me the option to replace it while they were in there. I gave him the go ahead to replace it. They fixed the leak and replaced the regulator and covered everything back up and were on their way! It was a great experience!! I was thrilled with the price as I had visions of backhoes, and cost over $1,000 since I realized I had a problem! I would definitely use them again! I also want to put in a good word for Nancy - the very personable and helpful lady who works in the office. She kept me informed on times, etc. Excellent customer service!!

Our toilet was leaking and I couldn't repair it, so we called them. They charged us an hour of labor to tell us they couldn't fix it, and sold me a new toilet. The way I understood it, they wouldn't charge me all over again if we got the new toilet today. They did charge us another hour for the toilet install. OK, I accepted the blame here, simple miscommunication and I paid them for the job they did. The reason for the bad review is that they grouted my white toilet in a light tan bathroom with black grout, promising me it would dry light. It didn't, and it looks terrible. A couple weeks later when I tried to shut the toilet water off, I noticed they also damaged my toilet shut off valve coming from the wall. It no longer turns off, and I'm sure it did before they came since I had just attempted the repair myself. For almost $500 I expect better than this. Update: After posting here, they called and came and fixed the grout. They replaced it with white grout that looks much better for no charge. They said I would've had to pay for the shut off valve, so I did not replace that. For their fix, I have updated my ratings to much higher scores, except price, which was still pretty steep. I guess that is just the cost of a plumber!

They were great. I've used them several times. They replaced my water heater before. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves and I would certainly use them again. The prices were reasonable.

I've used George several times in the past. Previous jobs included replacing a water heater, troubleshooting shower fixture problems, and replacing a pressure regulator valve. They've always been responsive, straightforward, professional, and relatively reasonably priced. Our kitchen sink/disposal clogged on Sunday. Called George Monday at 8:00 AM and they had someone there by 10:00 AM. They discovered that one of our (65 year old) cast iron sewer drain lines was also stopped up, had cracked and was slowly leaking. After some investigating, they decided that rather than patch the problem, they should replace a good portion of the old steel pipe (18 feet worth) with PVC. Boyce and his assistant were efficient and left the crawl space as clean as possible.

Our two technicians were on time, polite and explained everything they were doing. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with all of their work. The people I spoke with on the phone were helpful and polite, as well. I would completely recommend George Plumbing, without hesitation.

I called Monday afternoon and told it may be Wednesday before they could come because they were booked elsewhere, nice lady in office said she would try to work us in Tuesday and they did- which is great because my house was reeeeally stinky. The guys called about 30 minutes out, and arrived on time. They were clean (didn't create/leave a mess, and they wore booties over their shoes), and professional and completed the job in timely manner. I would use them again and recommend to friends/family!

It went fairly well, I wish they would have advised not to do it with the ground so wet since it left a muddy mess. However I was pushy with a time frame, so they were just following as I had requested. While the ground was dug up it was recommended to replace the clay septic line from the house to the tank which was a good suggestion.

It went smoothly. Both technicians were professional and polite, answered questions I had about the job. The price was competitive compared to other quotes that received.

From the booking , to completion, I had a very good experience. They called when they were approx. 30 minutes out and almost to the second were at the door. Covered shoes to keep house clean, very pleasant , worked very well as a team, very courteous. I would highly recommend this company and its technicians, and will most definitely call upon George Plumbing again if the need arises.

Telephoned George Plumbing on Friday morning and scheduled appointment. Service technicians arrived same day and at time specified. Both plumbers (Jimmy and Josh) were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Accessed situation and worked expeditiously to resolve the problem in about an hour and a half. Answered all my questions and were very courteous. First time to use George Plumbing and will highly recommend to others in need of plumbing services.
