They were on time, friendly and offered suggestions to fix several issues we had (1 leaking toilet, 1 that took 30 minutes to refill, 1 that made a constant noise, 1 that you had to hold the handle for a while until it would flush completely). All issues resolved, price was fair.

Julian and Daniel showed up at 9:00 am and assessed the situation. They were worried the leak might be under the tub too far and the tub would have to be removed. They called the leak detection company to ask the technician who located the leak how certain he was in it's location. It was decided to go through the slab as close to the tub as they could and see if they got lucky. They did. There was minimal disruption to the bathroom and adjoining bedroom during the jack hammering of the slab. Dust was even kept to a minimum. From beginning to end it took about 4 hours. I also had them replace a valve cartridge while they were there. I would use them in a heartbeat again.

He was really good. He was extremely courteous and we were very happy with his work.

Issue #1 The provider was going to hire a separate company to perform a leak search since they couldnt find the leak. The area in question was about 3 X 3 feet area. I was going to be charged approx 350 dollars just to search this small of an area. I was given a 1400 estimate. This cost was to replace the whole line, meter. I'm assuming that the leak detection cost was extra which would have brought total to almost 1800 dollars. I called the provider a couple of days later and told them that @ this juncture I couldnt afford to get repairs done. Issue #2 I got a bill on 8/10 for a 125 dollars for a what I would assume to be for the service call even though i was provided no information as to where my leak was located. I will pay this bill but this price for a service call is totally unacceptable! BTW, I ended up fixing the leak for about 20 dollars in parts!

The office staff was very good and responsive and the costs were explained up-front. The service was performed the next morning and the workers showed up on time and were very professional. They wore booties in the house to prevent any dirt being tracked in our home. They replaced the wax seal at the bottom of the toilet and then replaced the fill valve and supply line for the toilet to completely fix any area that might be leaking. The work was performed in less than an hour and they grouted the toilet back to the floor and cleaned up any mess that was made (which, surprisingly, was very little). I will be using George Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs as they were very fast, professional and the price was exactly what it should have been - very honest.

They were very professional and courteous. They determined what the problems were and fixed them promptly. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. I will certainly call them again in the future.

Called the company for a quote, they provided an estimate and a date when the job would be done. Said they would call ahead to confirm time on the day when the job was to be done. They did call, came out as promised, performed the work and left. No issues, the low pressure problem was fixed. I'm pleased with the service and would use this company again.

George's Plumbing did a very fine job for me. They scheduled an appointment promptly, arrived on time and completed all the needed repairs in less than an hour. The service staff were professional and courteous. I would not hesitate to call them again for any plumbing needs.

At approximately 8:10 am on July 11, 2013, I received a call from John who was one of the service technicians advising they were running a little late for their 8:15 am appointment. Within 10 minutes they arrived. I really appreciated their phone call but quite frankly I would never have considered them "late" to start with. Boyce and John were the two plumbers who showed up and they were extremely professional and courteous. They surveyed the situation and started exploring where the leak might be coming from. After about 10 minutes, they identified the problem, tried to resolve the issue and eventually determined that the tub spout had to be replaced. Since we had "Oil Rubbed Bronze" fixtures, they had to leave the premises to get a replacement spout that would match the rest of the fixtures in the bathroom. Within 20 minutes they were back and finished the installation within a few minutes. Boyce and John were extremely neat and demonstrated a real concern over our issue and made a concerted effort to take extra special care of our home. They both treated our home as if it were their own. Without a doubt, they are a credit to the service industry. I recommend them highly and as for me, if and when I need a plumber again, I will definitely call George's Plumbing ..... and oh by the way, I will specifically ask for Boyce and John.

We wanted to add a second bathroom for our elderly parents, downstairs, that they could easily access. These guys showed up but quickly glazed over when they learned it was being financed by the VA. Sure, gov't red tape is a pain, sure there are forms to fill out, etc., but they lost all interest in giving a quote, telling us why, or returning phone calls. So much for accountability or stepping up to the plate to help out a veteran who fought in the Pacific Theater to protect out country. Most all of the plumbers quickly turned when they realized this project was to financed by the V.A., and didn't have the courtesy to explain why they weren't interested in bidding; they just quit communicating with us.

Called first thing in the morning. They were there the same morning and completed everything as expected. Overall, very happ with them. Think they will become my plumber of choice..

drain was overflowing every time we used the washer. I tried to clear it myself using drain cleaner and a drain snake several times but could not clear it. Finally called a well known plumbing company for help. They came out and tryed to snake it at the washer and at the cleanout. Having no more secusse than I had they suggested that the p trap was bad and plugging the drain. After asking ,I was told that they could fix it like new by opening the wall to get to the drain and repairing the trap. The cost would be about $600.00 and they would put the wall back like it was. I did not have that kind of money right now, so I paid them and they left. I told them "Thank you". After 8 or 10 weeks of stepping over the hose I connected to drain the machine into a nearby shower, ( with a lent catcher attached to the end of the hose ) I called George Plumbing. they came out when they said they would and snaked the drain and got it working again. I should also tell you that neither I or the other plumbers I called could get a drain snake deep enough into the drain to clear it. Couldn't get pass the p trap. George Plumbing opened the drain and it is still open today almost 2 months later.I would call them again if and when I need a plumber. They also told me that access to the p trap was probably under the concrete slab my house was built on, and not in the wall like I was told. After they recomended a maintenace program, I paid them and said thank you. I than took up the hose pipe I had been stepping over for 2 to 3 months.

It went very well! The guys were very professional and knew what they were doing. They work quickly, but do the job well! No complaints here! Sink works great and the toilet is fixed and not costing us so much money by running all the time. I highly recommend them!

They were very efficient; left the site perfectly clean. Very professional. My only complaint is that they are about twice as expensive as other plumbers. I have two more toilets to replace and, although these guys are the best, it isn't rocket science and I will go with a lower-priced vendor. I was hoping they would give some kind of discount for the repeat business, but no dice.

As a retired Manager of a hotel (5yrs) and two Apartment Complexes (11yrs) I have dealt with many contractors of every kind. Wishing I had met George years ago..." My stress with contractors, caused me to have many "power surges" this what my own Maintenance Guy called my Hot Flashes..." George Plumbing has been the best ! ! Prompt, efficient, cost worthy and well mannered. He knows just what you need. I Bought a toilet he had in stock but, he was willing to get the one I originally wanted with no problem. I had a major tree root problem...fixed it and now I have a new toilet... I can flush without any worry if it is going to stop up this flush or the next...Cleaned up, took the old toilet, thanked me with a smile and left. I am in the middle of major remodeling and GEORGE is at the top of my list. Thank You.

We noticed a leak in our garage and called George Plumbing after checking the reviews on Angie's list. They came out that same morning. They checked the area where we noticed the leak and determined the source of the leak within a short time (water splashing out of the shower). They gave us a few suggestions on what was (and was not) needed to fix it (new shower door or a towel to catch the water). While there, we had them add an access panel for the shower and they double checked for leaks through the access. They were prompt, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely call again if we had another problem.

I was pleased with them. They were very neat and clean. They did the job in one day. I did not like the first toilet that they brought so they brought a new one at no extra charge.

I called Monday morning and they were there by noon. They installed drip pan, water heater and added an expansion tank. Dale and Daniel were very polite, competent and professional.

The tool delta sent to get the center nut off broke which resulted in me seeking professional help. Technician came was neat in appearance and clean (wore little booty's to keep dirt out of the house). Surveyed the job - got his tools and within about 10 minutes had the old faucet off and was preparing to install the new one. completed the job, cleaned up and departed. Very pleasant person and knew what he was doing.

They did a very good job with the service and their pricing was more reasonable than other estimates we had received. They were able to analyze problems that existed in the home that others were unable to detect. They were very professional and considerate of our home.

Boyce and another guy was on-time and put booties on at the front door. They were very friendly. They immediately went to work. Very professional. I would use them again anytime for plumbing needs. The cost was very reasonable. The customer service when you call is excellent. Wouldn't change anything about this company.

After the water company called to tell us our water usage was unusually high, I isolated the potential leak to being inside the house. I called George's Plumbing based on reviews on Angie's list, and they were able to come out the next morning. They arrived promptly, took care to use booties to protect the floors, were able to locate the problem and replace the defective part. The price was a bit high, but we live a ways from Hartselle. They gave me the 10% Angies list discount. It would have been an easy fix for us to do on our own, but they had the expertise to find the problem. The men were pleasant, and professional. We would hire them again.
