We contracted with FenceMasters for a large (> 300 ft) shadow-box fence for our backyard, in preparation for a new pool. The City of Madison has some new, and quite strict, requirements for pool fences (Picket spacing < 1.75 inches; auto-close latches; height requirements etc). FenceMasters did a great job with the fence construction. They communicated with the city inspector to make sure they understood the requirements. The owner, Clint, came onsite three times to make sure the crew built the fence properly. I was impressed with his professionalism and communications.

Jace got us a quote quickly and was very responsive to texts. The construction crew was skilled and efficient. Definitely recommend.

They did a wonderful job for installation of our fence around the property and 3 gates. We appreciate the owners of this business for procurement right materials for our project during this passed pandemic-difficult time. Also we like the crews who did the installation. It took 6 months from estimate to finish, but the results were beautiful and satisfied.

Everything was fine until the end of installation. Workers were in a hurry to finish before the weekend. Gates do not hang level. Owner says they look fine to him. Meets his standards. Said he would come back out and to try and adjust them. Been waiting 3 months for that to happen. There was no cleanup after they were through. They left metal pieces and huge chunks of concrete in the flower beds. We have to completely redo flower beds that they ruined. Very expensive fence and very poor workmanship. Would NOT recommend this company ever.

They were great with the estimate process and very responsive with getting back to me and I liked that I didn't feel pressured by them.

The fence is beautiful. It turned out exactly how we discussed. Jamie, Clint, Jace and the installers were nice and professional to work with.

Work went quite well. Job took 3 days. Tore out 10 year old fencing which was here when we bought the house and disposed of all remnants. Next day new posts went in. 3rd day all spans and pickets went in. Gate added. They use 16’ spans which are staggered between posts every 8’ which added a lot of structural support to posts. Pickets were laid in shadow box which looks better but also allows air to pass through. Better in storms but also nice because night breeze can make into back yard now. Gate was welded 2 inch square steel stock which is far more rigid then the old gate. Price was exactly as quoted. Very satisfied with our new fence. Expect it to last for many years.
