+ 0 moreI had several bids to paint the exterior of our home..many of the recommendations came from Angie's List. However, this company was recommended by word of mouth. They were recommended by 3 of our neighbors. Actually, when one neighbor was walking her dog she saw they were working on our house and I believe she arranged for them to come to her house and do more work. That is always a good thing when you maintain a good relationship with previous clients and want people to come back to do work for you. Josh and his crew were very punctual and professional. When giving an estimate Josh was right on time and his bid was competitive and fair. They were able to get to us in a timely manner (given the frequent rain) and worked very hard. They were very neat with their ladders and supplies and if they went for lunch they always made sure everything was neat even though work was being done on the house. While they worked, you hardly knew they were there. While very friendly, they were not loud as they did their work- which meant I was able to go about my work and was not disturbed. We had to get this done because the cedar shake was in such bad shape, it looked like it was starting to curl up and need to be replaced. Now that they painted it, it looks brand new and we hope to get many years out of this paint job. The job looks great and I would definitely use them again to do work on our home.
Description of Work: All shutters, windows, doors, front siding (cedar shake), Cornish, fascia board, chimney, gutters and downspouts. (sand, caulk, and prime where needed)

+ -1 moreI got him from my friends. They were very prompt. They got the job done in just four days which was really nice since they were painting the whole house. I would rate them highly on everything, but for neatness I would rate them a little low as I have got paint here and there, and I have had other painters in and I wouldn't even know they had been here. They were extremely punctual and professional. I was pleased with them overall. I am not sure if I would use them in the future as I don't like spots of paint here and there, and I have a brick house and I don't like spots on the brick either.
Description of Work: I used JW Painting and Staining for painting the inside of my house.
