The Bug Doctor is unique in that we are owned by an Entomologist. No other company in North Alabama can match that level of expertise. Our clientele benefit from a local Entomologist who can respond quickly to any pest problem. The Bug Doctor name originates from the owner's educational background. Donny Oswalt holds a bachelors degree in Integrated Pest Management from Auburn University, a Master’s Degree in Entomology from Auburn, and Doctoral degree in Entomology from Clemson University. The Bug Doctor is a family owned and operated pest control company serving North Alabama. We offer monthly, quarterly, and one-time services. We feature a variety of services tailored to your specific pest problem including exterior only services that will fit into any busy family's schedule. We offer free inspections for most services and will give you a no-obligation quote. Angie's list members will receive 10% off termite control services, or 10% off an annual pest control service. Services we offer

We provide residential, commercial, & industrial pest control Services. We also install and service mosquito misting systems. We provide a variety of services for ants, roaches, mice, rats, spiders, mosquitoes, termites, bed bugs, crickets, earwigs, scorpions and many other types of insect problems. Our company is unique in that it is owned and operated by a Ph.D. Entomologist. We service Madison, Marshall, Jackson, Limestone, Morgan, Blount, Dekalb, Etowah, and Cullman counties.

Services we don't offer

We do not perform inspections for "real estate clearance letters" or AWIR's.

Excellent business to work with! They showed up at my house a week after we moved in and offered a free service (since they previously serviced the house with the other owners). It was perfect since I had seen several black widows in the garage. That was 8 months ago, and I have not seen a black widow since. Also, on another occasion, I was home with my young children alone and I heard an animal in our duct work. I called them, and they arrived less than 20 minutes later and investigated for me. They set traps, and thoroughly searched under the house, no extra charge. The service man always rings the doorbell and checks to see if there have been any issues. The office staff is friendly, and ready to help. They set a day to come each month (for example, the first Thursday of the month) and they have always been punctual.

We called and they came the next day. They let us know when they were going to show up. Everyone was really professional and nice. We have nothing but good experience with them so far. We already have them come each month.

Quick appointment given at initial phone contact. Thorough, friendly professional evaluation, with immediate help for a particular problem. Monthly appointments have followed, with the same excellent service.
Description of Work: Provided initial pest and bug control inspection. Contract signed for one year, with monthly follow-ups.
