Littke Bits

Randy said job would take 2 days. Thinking $35 hr. X 8 hrs X 2 days...ok little high but alright. He was at my house 4 hrs during which time he had to leave to purchase wood. He still charged me $600. That is $150 hr. When questioned, he said I miscalculated. I only agreed to $600 because he said 2 days and I believe in paying properly for work done. Now that money is over with. He said he would put cloths to protect building. He did not and overspray is all over building. Several boards have zero stain on them. The one step he built does not cover hole left by other step. He did not clean up AT ALL. Left a large item in yard that he had moved from porch and there is NO WAY I can lift it. I texted him that he needed to come back for redo. It took him 3 days to answer text and then he simply said “I will be over by Friday”. When I tried twice to find out when, he would not reply. 1 week later he texted “What is address”. I replied address and stated I would not be available that day. He had an appointment for quote. He had appointment for work. He can not just drop by for a redo. Now that his poor workmanship and poor service has been handled. I ask for Angie’s List and got Home Advisor. Did not want Home Advisor. Randy said don’t worry about it. “PRO” hiring through you guys did not work. Still being mistreated primarily because I am an old widow woman.
