He did the jobs I asked him to do in a timely and efficient manner. He was pleasant and polite. I would recommend him.

He and his wife are very nice people and do great work. Additionally they are prompt and reliable.

Contacted Jack in the evening and he and his wife arrived the next morning and performed the work. They were efficient and neat (cleaning up after themselves) and the work looked great. I would definitely use them again.

Never ever ever again. It is all great if: you don't mind CONSTANT smoking you don't mind a person with a record being in your home you don't mind long absences (sometimes weeks) you don't mind short work hours you don't mind your job being left in limbo while he goes to do something he deems more profitable you don't mind listening to his music (loudly) you don't mind him being in or around your home shirtless you don't mind listening to him complain you don't mind him totally in your business

First, the positive. If you have a small project (hang a TV on a wall) this service provider may be ok. But be sure your project can be finished in one day and BEWARE the comments below. Big Negatives: Seven months after starting the project Mr. Parker walked off the job, unfinished. I had to hire other painters to finish the work and to re-do some of the work because of the horrible quality. See photo of paint job on front door below. It bubbled and peeled. Mr. Parker saw the bubbled paint every time he showed up to work for weeks and weeks, and never corrected it. Just walked off the job. I had to spend hundreds of dollars to have the paint removed and a new paintjob put on the door. Mr. Parker is very unprofessional. He will walk inside your home, without warning or invitation, {when his work for that day is outdoors). READ THIS: Perhaps most disturbing is the fact that Mr. Parker found an old tag for our dog, with our old address on it. He used GOOGLE Maps or GOOGLE Earth to look up the old address and reviewed an aerial view of the property (and street view) and then asked us questions about the property! This is both unprofessional and creepy. Reading a dog's old tag, and looking up the prior residence. Seriously? Also be advised that Mr. Parker considers one or more large condominium complexes to be his bread and butter, so if they call with a bunch of TVs to hang or light fixtures or fans to replace he will do that work preferentially to whatever you may have hired him to do. As far as I know, Mr. Parker does not have an electrical license, so I wonder if a commercial (for rent) condominium complex manager should be hiring Mr. Parker to do electrical work. Seems to me if there was ever an electrical shock or fire, the condominium manager would have big legal problems for using a person without an electrical license to do the work. This assumes Mr. Parker does not have an electrical license, which I believe to be true. Mr. Parker made no effort to make the work right, he did not finish the job, and the last draw he took on the job was partially for materials, but he returned the materials and kept the cash (as he walked off the job). By next week the other painters I have hired to finish the job and correct the shoddy work, will be done. At that point I will know the extent of my damages. I will be seeking those damages from Mr. Parker. I am also aware that Mr. Parker likes to respond to negative posts about him on Angie's List (one of the many things he liked to and quot;chatand quot; about when he should have been working). I will be more than happy to respond to any such retort from Mr. Parker. In a nutshell: Not recommended, unless you want a TV hung on the wall and then be very careful.

Jack and Lynn showed up Friday morning and returned Saturday and Sunday. Did a great job

We wanted estimates for an update to our kitchen and painting and wallpaper removal to our rental condo. We called Jack and set up an appointment for the next day. He never showed and never contacted us.

He did a great job and finished in a timely manner. He was very clean and even did a couple of jobs that I didn't even pay for. It was him and his wife work who did the work and they are a great team together. Their work was superior.

Do not waste your time on this guy. I spoke with him by phone during the week of 9/23/2013, and told him everything I needed him to do. He went to my rental property to look at the repairs we had discussed. I called him a few days later and he assured me he could do the repairs. On Oct 4,2013, I drove from Birmingham (where I live) to meet with him at my property in Gulf Shores. We reviewed everything; I gave him a key and he told me he would probably get started on 10/7/2013. He even told me he would get the paint I wanted, take my outdoor furniture home and paint it. I called Mr. Parker on 10/15/2013, to discuss the repair work. He told me he had not given any thought to the repairs to my property that we had discussed. I asked him if that meant he wasn't going to do the work, and told me ,yes, he guessed so. I wasted almost a month on this guy, not to mention the driving time from Bham to Gulf Shores and back plus expenses. He never even had the decency to call me and tell me he wasn't going to do the repair work. My guess is, he didn't know how to do it.

Jack and Lynn are very professional and extremely hardworking. The work was done quickly and beautifully. They will definately be my go-to people. It was a pleasure working with them.

They were very nice but way over priced. I found someone who did the work for much less. I could not afford the services. They were very professional when they came out but I will not be using them in the future.

i tried to get 2 fence companies to put up a 200 ft privacy fence but they never would show up. i called jack and he came right out and his price was in line with the other 2 and he started within the week and finished in 3 days. they cleaned up very good when through. they had to cut a lot of small bushes to do the job and they hauled all this to the road so i could have the county pick it up. they are going to start screening in my deck next week and have already saved me $50 on the screen door for the deck. they really know what they are doing, are really nice folks and i am going to use them for a lot more jobs. they saved me money on the fencing material. they found it was $70 cheaper at nfl in gulf shores than where i had priced it, the quality was better and they had free delivery. would recommend they anytime! they are also going to build me steps to my house and gave me a great idea i hadn't thought of. highly recommend!! 1/30/13 they finished screening in my deck and did a great job and the price was very reasonable and they also insulated the tin roof of the deck. i will definitely use them again!

Mr. and Mrs. Parker were efficient and friendly. The estimate given was for a set amount of labor and reimbursement of materials. Mr. Parker provided a receipt for the materials and what he purchased was exactly what was needed without waste or overage. They did a very good job and the floor is an excellent addition to my house. I will definitely use them again.

Jack and Lynne were on the phone with me throughout the entire job and let me know everything that needed to be done to get our condos back up to shape after the long summer rentals and wear and tear. They would buy what was needed and everything was painted and fixed perfectly.

I emailed them and we kept talking back and forth.

Overall, exceptional work at a fair price. I plan to call Jack for future work and have referred him to friends.

Everything went perfectly with all the jobs Jack did for us. Oh he did run into problems, as usual with every job. But the best part is that they were transparent to us! He would say he had to run to the store to pick up a part that was not included or get a different cabinet that had been incorrectly ordered by us which was the wrong size - but nothing was a problem to us. He took care of everything and we never had to worry. When you find someone who actually sees a problem, knows what to do, fixes it, and just lets you know what happened without making it a huge problem for you...it doesn't get any better.
