+ -1 moreHe investigated the problem, pulling the case from the water lines, and diagnosed the problem. He had a generic part and kept the fridge working, so I didn't have to move all the food from my fridge and freezer. He returned and replaced the defective parts. DO NOT BUY A FRIGIDAIRE! There was no way I could have impacted the tubing that burst and shorted the relay, it was a bad part that wasn't covered in the warranty. He was prompt, courteous, and honest. The charge is for two service calls and the parts. I am delighted I didn't have to replace a refrigerator that was just out of warranty.
Description of Work: My 1 1/2-year-old refrigerator began making odd noises on the nite of January 10. I called the best-reviewed repairman in my area early the next morning. No return call. I called the second. No return call. Mr. Anthony answered my next call, took my information, and called back. He was at my house within 3 hours with a temporary replacement. The water line in this fridge had ruptured and shorted the relay (thank heavens... other elements would have been deadly)

+ -1 moreAnthony's Appliance Service was called by the management company I have for my condo. A guest said the refrigerator wasn't cooling enough. The service tech found the refrigerant was low. He then provided no details to the management company ... just that I needed to replace the refrigerator. When I had the management company call him back for details, he said the refrigerant was low and he wouldn't refill it given the age of the refrigerator. It was between 10 and 15 years old. My issues are the lack of detail he provided and then the downright refusal to refill the refrigerant. Although he accomplished nothing, he charged me $100.
Description of Work: Checked the refrigerator in my condo and said the refrigerant was low. Refused to refill it given the age of my refrigerator. He then changed me $100 for the pleasure.

Description of Work: I had a renter that move out and turned off the electricity. Unfortunately, she left some frozen shrimp in the freezer. The smell was HORRIBLE. I cleaned everything that I could find. I called this appliance repair service to see if they could help. The owner said there was nothing that they could do but suggested putting crumpled-up newspaper in the freezer and refrigerator. This hint took 80% of the smell which allowed the next renter to move in. I evenually bought charcoal packets from Amazon which took the other 20% of the smell out.
