I don't normally write reviews, but I really feel compelled to do this. The first day went great. That's why I didn't give them F's since one day was good. I called, and the receptionist was very nice, and the owner came out that day to look at it. He spent his time on it and really seemed to want to help. He was very nice. He got my heater working and told me what was wrong with the unit and that he couldn't guarantee me it would last. He said if it broke down within the week, to give him a call, and he wouldn't charge me a service fee (I'll be tempted to see if this is true once I get my bill. It was $70 for 1 service call, but I'm not sure how many they will charge me for if the owner doesn't stick to his word). The heater quit working again halfway through the night and had new problems. I don't know if his work caused it or not. But, I called them, and the receptionist told me he'd be there after I got off work. He never showed up, and I never got a call saying he was running late or wouldn't show up. The phone went straight to voicemail (after I waited about 2 hours trying to be patient before calling because I knew they were busy), and I didn't hear back. I called the next day, and the receptionist said she didn't know what happened and that she'd ask if he could make it that night. I never heard back until I called that afternoon, and she said she forgot to ask him. He did end up coming out that night and tried again to get it to work. Once he couldn't, he helped me start up my fireplace and gave me suggestions on how to heat the house for the time being. He then announced he would be back the next day to try one more time and to talk with me about long-term options because he didn't have any information with him (I thought he should have brought it this time since he had come out before and knew it needed parts or a new system.). I didn't really understand why they were coming out again, but since he said he was, I was happy that he was showing a real willingness to help...or so it seemed. My friend (who is related to one of the employees) confirmed with his relative the next day that they were coming and what was going to be done. I then texted the relative later to see what time they would be there, and he gave me the approximate time. They never showed up. It was not until my friend called two hours after the estimated arrival time and asked if the owner had called me yet to tell me they weren't coming. He hadn't. I would never have known they weren't coming unless a non-employee had told me. I then contacted his relative and asked what was going on and got a very rude response, implying that I was demanding and they had more important things to work on and coming out every night was ridiculous (If I had actually acted this way, the situation and my feelings towards them would have be one of understanding and not of frustration.). I realized the owner either didn't explain the situation or explained what happened inaccurately, which I cleared up with the employee, who apologized profusely and said the owner was blaming him for me thinking they were going to be coming out that night. I also told him I would be happy to tell the owner that it was the owner himself that I was relying on because he was the one that told me he was going to come and told me that without my asking him to come back. I am very disappointed in the owner's actions and irresponsibility. The relative said that the owner was going to come the next day, which I told him to tell the owner not to come and that I was going with someone else because of the owner's actions, and lack thereof. It seems the owner is determined to come out and give me pricing on a new unit. We'll see if he shows, but I don't plan on using them, and I did cancel the appointment, but I guess he has a mind of his own. The company has gotten good reviews on other social media sites, so maybe this was just my experience, but it was certainly a bad one. Since nothing will ever be installed by this company, I can't comment on the quality of work they do, so I do not have an opinion or facts to divulge on this aspect of the business.
