Description of Work: They never showed up to re-roof our house.

Description of Work: They showed up promptly and gave an estimate, Then offered to be there when the insurance adjuster came. Our roof was damaged in the April 27, 2011 tornado. The adjuster gave us $5,000 more than the estimate. July 16, we received the check from the insurance and called to sign the contract. I gave them a check on July 16 and they said they would begin work as soon as the check ($9,400) cleared. The check cleared my account o July 19th. I gave them a call to let them know the check had cleared. That was the last call from me they answered. The junior partner accidentally called me and asked for someone else. I recognized her voice and told her I had been trying to get intouch with them and had left several messages on their voice mail accounts. She said she would have their site manager call me to set up the job. He called later that day and said they would deliver the materials on Sunday, Sept. 18th and begin the install on Mon. Sept. 19th, weather permitting. It rained on both days and they didn't call to reschedule. I tried calling them, but they were avoiding my phone calls. I consulted a lawyer and he told me to file a police report. The Detective called to tell me he had gotten in touch with them and to give them a call to get my money back. They said they could get it to me by the next Thursday and would bring me three checks to pay me off. The detective had told me not to except partial payment, so I told them to bring me a check for the full amount by the next Thursday. They never showed up. I called the detective back and he finally went with me to sign a warrant. I will be going to court on May 3rd to testify.

Description of Work: They were supposed to complete a full roof tear off and replacement. The contract was for $11,000. They have not refunded my money.
