I wasn't sure what agency or realtor to call for the north side of Birmingham. I am very glad I called the Keller Williams office. Linda Collier has gone out of her way to match me with the house that I want - regardless of the price. She has been low pressure and even did a great job helping me to prioritize what I did or did not like about specific houses. She was great about meeting me at my convenience (especially late in the evening or on weekends) to show me houses. When it came time to make an offer on my favorite house, she provided excellent advice on how to balance a low ball offer with one that the sellers would accept. I am in the closing process for the house I wanted for less than what it is likely worth - and less than what the seller originally asked for. I would highly recommend her or any of the other agents I met at this office if anyone is looking for an agent to buy or sell in the area. Linda knows the area well, has been involved with both the real estate and construction end of the business, and has a great amount of common sense about houses which can come in really handy to a first-time home buyer like me. She has also been great at helping me deal with details of the closing process with the mortgage company. Note that the cost here is listed as $0.00 because the payment to the buying agent actually comes from the seller once you purchase the house.
