No **follow-up** / Trash in yard / some gutter work not completed, Gal. of paint agreed on, did not show up... Price paid vs. quality of work do not equate...

Munceys Home rep[air was hired to seal an asphalt roof. The work was excellent and their response time to complete the repair was exceptional. Overall, I will hire them again, and would strongly recommend them to others as well. Mr. Muncey was very professional and was very easy to work with.

I can't say enough GOOD THINGS about this company. I authorized them to do the repair (of a roof leak) three days before a major rain event, they came and had it totally fixed the day before the rain came. I am so totally IN AWE of that fact, and I SO appreciate their work and their prompt response to the problem I had!!! Their repair quote is exactly what I paid - and it was a very fair price. They are incredible. Today during the rain I see that I no longer have a leak. Terrific! I will use this company again in the future for MANY home repairs - I am so very happy with their work!! I HIGHLY recommend them and I am so happy that I found them.

Tim and His crew are most Excellent! They where on time, professional & organized! They cleaned up all debris and I was charged $100.00 less than quoted. Tim advised that there was less required than originally thought, Meself would not have known this fact. Thanks ta Tim’s honesty for this reduction of repair cost! Muncey Home Repair did a great job installing new windows on my home. They also installed Gutters and siding. They were patient and helpful during the process of me choosing a color for my siding. They were quick to give me a quote and quick to get the job started and completed. I would recommend them and definitely us them again.

Project is too expensive for what i thought it would be

His crew were fast and efficient. He even charged me less than the agreed price. That's what I call a deal.

The work was very, very good. It was a superior job and it did not take them all day to complete the work. Most important, they made sure that I had a good understanding of what needed to be done in order to repair the roof. Very courteous and they made sure everything was clean and in order prior to leaving. I am completely satisfied with the work and the cost. I would highly recommend them, in fact, I have already recommended them to someone else. Exceptional Work!

Tim was here on site when he promised. He arrived when he said on time to start.He is very professional and his workers are very knowledgable.The work is first class and very reasonable.I would highly recommend him and would hire him again for future projects.

The service was great. The repair is great. We had a leak we had trouble with for years. More than one tried to fix it. Tim Muncey's crew actually fixed it! We even re roofed it to stop the leak before Muncey's work and it still leaked! Thankfully Muncey's knew what to do.

I had the siding replaced in the chimney. Great work, easy to work with the owner, good pricing, and finished it in a timely manner and I would definitely hire him again!

I have read reviews of Andrew Munceys Home Repair, and I am wondering just who those people are who submitted them. I also wonder if this review will actually be posted because it is not a favorable one. Needing someone who could address my roofing concerns, I called and spoke to Mr. Muncey, and we agreed on a day and time. On the day of the appointment when he was 30 minutes late and he had even called, I called him only to learn that he was not in Birmingham and could not make my morning appointment. He asked me to reschedule to the following day, but I had other engagements that would prevent rescheduling. When I adamantly reminded him about the day and time he scheduled with me, and I would not change the date, he hung up on me and did not call back. Now, who would give this a five star?

Mr Muncey and his crew removed our old roof and installed a new asphalt roof. They were efficient, capable and professional. I would definitely recommend his services.

For most of us, a home is about the most expensive purchase we will ever make. Because of this and all the other connections, people have with the places where they live, when the inevitable need for repair arises, selecting professionals to do the work can be a stressful experience. I have recently found out when one is fortunate enough to find the right people, having repair work done can become far less painful. I cannot say more honestly than I am attempting to convey here that my experience with Andrew Muncey s Home Repairs exceeded any expectations I had of what was even possible in this day and age. From the first contact until the completion of my project, I and my home have been treated with respect and care. On the first visit to my home, to determine the extent of needed repair and to assist me in making wise choices, Mr. Muncey could not have been more punctual. We discussed the material options for replacing my roof, as well as what structural repairs seemed to be needed. It was clear immediately that first and foremost, Andrew Muncey wanted me to be pleased with the end result of the work and not just put on a few figurative *band-aids.* My own reasons for which direction I thought I wanted to go with the repair were clearly appreciated and honored, while I was also informed of my other appropriate options. I was impressed as Mr. Muncey explained that he desired to NOT repeat what some other service providers have done in the past to my old house: shortcuts I was already aware of, as the house has been in the family far longer than I have even been alive and I know first- hand what has been done the last two times this house has been re-roofed. As MY home is old enough that the on-site workers would not have even have had the convenience of power tools when first constructed, it was important to me that THIS time, the roofing and other required structural repair be executed in a manner that would honor the craftsmen that were here on-site 106 years ago. I now have a new roof that beautifully compliments the aesthetics of the design of the house, as well as a home that is more structurally sound than I have ever known it to be during my lifetime. Both of these items matter to me, as my neighborhood is now designated as a Historic District on top of my personal connections with the old house that is my home she s like a member of the family. Whether for repair on a more recent construction or an older home, like mine, I can highly recommend Andrew Muncey s Home Repair. For me at least, this project has seemed like I have been dealing with people who understand modern building techniques perfectly, but who also honor the craftsmanship and dignity of times gone by. For other homeowners who find themselves in need of home repair, I would suggest that you take my words at face value and give these folks a call. If you do just that, I am sure you will be treated as I have been and can then make your own choice from your own experience with them.

I accepted a reasonable bid and was happy to find that some of the work required was not really necessary at this time. The cost was reduced accordingly. Easy to deal with and happy with results.
