Mr. Electric of Etowah & Dekalb

Mr. Electric was a waste of my time. Mr. Electric proved not dependable to keep appointments at the times Mr. Electric provided and agreed to. At least the owner was polite enough to call to let me know he could not keep either of the two appointments. However, politeness did not get the work done. I contacted Mr. Electric via web site on Tuesday November 6th and Will, the owner of the local Mr. Electric, called me a couple of hours later. After a description of the work, Will first scheduled the work for Friday morning November 9th to change out three exterior light fixtures on my home. All seem well on this call, very polite and web site communication was considered a plus. A couple of days later Will called back and said he was under the weather and needed to reschedule for Monday morning November 12, which I agreed to. Next day or two, Will called again to reschedule as he said he was doubled booked on Monday November 12. At that point, Mr. Electric's services were no longer required. Failure to keep appointments on two separate occasions is unacceptable. I will not contact Mr. Electric again.

We had just moved to the Gadsden area and were trying to unpack and get our home in order. My husband had hooked up the washer and dryer, only to find that the dryer would not work. He then went to the breaker box and could not find the breaker that turned off the dryer connection. We decided to call an electrician at that point! We called Mr. Electric...they were so friendly and courteous on the phone! Took time to listen to the problem and said they could be out here that same afternoon! I was in shock, because I had already called a few other places, and I kept being told it would be at least 2 to 3 days. Will (the owner), came on time and realized immediately that the breaker was broken...he was able to replace it, fix my dryer, and even found another outlet in my husband's office that needed to be replaced. Very friendly, courteous and professional!!!!!

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Mr. Electric for taking time to come to my house to see why my disposal had quit working. Of course, when they got out here, the only thing wrong was that the GFCI plug had tripped...I felt really stupid, but Will (the owner), took the time to explain to me how it happened and what I should look at if it happens in the future. The most amazing part was that he did not charge me for the house call...GREAT company!

After using Mr. Electric the first time, I knew who to call when I needed a garbage disposal installed in my kitchen. When I did call, they were just as friendly as the first time. Told them what I needed, and once again, Will (the owner) came out to perform the work. I had 2 very old rheostat switches for my ceiling fans that actually got hot to the touch when the fans were on. He was able to replace those in no time flat...and then the real work began! : ). Our home has a ceiling in the garage...when Will was hooking up the electrical components for the disposal, he realized that he would not be able to install it under the flooring of the kitchen. He was amazing! Connected the electrical through the dishwasher, and was able to give us a safe GFCI plug under the cabinet to make sure it had it's own electricity circuit. Through out all of this (approximately an hour), he was friendly, knowledgable and communicated to me everything that he was doing. My home has a one-year warranty on it, but I do not use the people suggested for any electrical work...I only use Mr. Electric, and highly recommend them to do everything they say they will do, and do it RIGHT the first time!
