It went extraordinarily well. Dennie Quarles, owner, does the work. He's retired home builder and he has the skills to do just about anything. He was on time, with the proper equipment, professional, courteous and friendly. He even fixed a few things around our home that weren't part of the agreement. I was installing doors while he was going through the punch list and he installed a door to show me how it was done. He completed the job on time and within budget. We are very please with the finished product. His price was great, and he was very responsive throughout the process. He didn't push us off with punch list items. He responded within a couple of days and followed up his initial pass at the punch list with a second visit to put finishing touches on the work he had done. Dennis was a breath of fresh air from the contractors we had spoken to up to that point. We received a bid from one contractor for the same work for $11,700. This same contractor also took four weeks to come up with a bid. A third contractor did a walk through, and told me he'd "shoot me a number" without getting my name, number or contact information. I never heard from him again. There are a number of predators in the contracting business, and if your job is too small, you'll get ignored or taken advantage of. This is not the case with Cornerstone Properties and Dennis Quarles. Dennis did everything he said he was going to do and then some. I know that he is quite capable of general construction, repair and remodeling from the extras he did for us because he saw something wasn't quite right. I give him my highest recommendation for anyone affected by the south Louisiana flood of August 2016. Excellent work and results for a very fair price from a prompt and responsive contractor.
Description of Work: We flooded in August 2016 (Baton Rouge) and had demo'd our house and began the rebuilding process. We tore out the bottom four feet of our sheet rock as we only had two feet of water We needed a contractor to install the bottom four feet of our interior walls with sheet rock, then tape, mud and float everything including the sheet rock that was already in place to tie it all together. We had already insulated the house and we are going to do the painting, so we needed the sheet rock prepped and ready to paint.

It went well. Just lost everything in my house caused by the flood in Louisiana. Too many contractors were price gouging. When I met them, they quoted me a price that was very reasonable and kept there promise on the price. Wonderful people. Professional, Kind, courteous. Excellent job. They even gave me some tips on how to save money on other tasks throughout the house. If you are looking for a company that cares about their customers, please give them a call. You will not regret the type of service you will receive.

The work was done and with quality. I trusted them to be in my home alone and that they would do a great job. They did and also did research to help with carpet & granite places that I also needed to hire.
Description of Work: We had a major flood in our area & cornerstone properties was hired to do Sheetrock, painting, trim, hang doors and they removed my popcorn ceiling and gave it a textured look. They did an excellent job and at a fair price. Very professional and friendly. Wouldn't even think to hire anyone else in the future besides them. Very pleased!!
